It will become difficult. Thus, up to this point, it has been shown by preventing the establishment of the valid cognition of the grasper and the grasped. Now, since things do not exist due to the harmful valid cognition, what is expressed by showing only the mind-only is the so-called "initial end" and so on. The thought is this: external objects are investigated by other proponents in many ways with distinctions such as qualities and substances. Among them, the basis of the qualities and other things is substance, therefore, by preventing that substance, those substances with roots will not arise. Therefore, do not say who produces it separately, because many things are not without aggregation, therefore, do not refute it according to its way. Substances are also the nine kinds of earth, water, fire, wind, space, time, direction, self, and mind. Among them, the self should be considered immediately. Sound is also considered to be a quality of the nature of space. If so, because of the similarity, all sounds will not be heard as different. Therefore, just like a nearby place, it appears in an obstructed place It is also hoped that the sound will be heard, or it will not be heard, which is certain. Since direction and place are also the same, it is not suitable as a cause of before and after, etc. Thinking like this, this distinction is because the things that make the distinction are different. Are the before and after of the things that make the distinction from themselves or from others? Among them, if according to the first way, since it is understood from itself that it has been established, they are meaningless. If according to the second way, if it is only from direction and place, then since it is the same at that time, those changes at this time are inappropriate. If it is said to be other, then they will become meaningless. These things of space, direction, and place are constant, whether they have a common function or are separated from it, how can they only occasionally produce their own results without obtaining the distinction of their own nature? Like this: They are capable or incapable, The place where nature resides is, Because it is constant, it does not nourish, What is the ability to exhaust it. Like this. This also negates the mind.

To! If mind proponents think that mind does not generate knowledge all at once, but can be inferred. Then, in actions such as seeing, various knowledge is experienced all at once. If so, it will never be reasonable. Therefore, space and so on simply do not exist. If it is said that earth and so on exist, then it can also be divided into two types: having parts and extremely subtle particles. Among them, having parts does not exist, and extremely subtle particles also do not exist. Because for both of these, there is no reason to establish them. The refutation of them will be explained in order, that is, the beginning and the end, etc. Woolen cloth and so on are not gradually composed of two or more extremely subtle particles, nor are they widely known as the nature of having parts. Why? Because color and so on have differences such as beginning, end, and middle, they contradict each other, and because they are seen to be separated from the coarse, single nature. Therefore, this explains the reason for the non-apprehension of an object with the characteristic of being an object of cognition, with the nature of being mixed with one knowledge. Thus, thus, only the parts that are in a state of change appear. The indivisible particle corresponding to it, others are impossible to appear. If one part turns to the right or to the left, then the part with parts that contains it will also be seen to be turning or shaking. If it is said that the parts are turning and shaking, but the part with parts is not, then it will be seen to be turning without shaking. When one part is obscured, it will only become invisible. If it is not obscured, then it will be difficult to avoid falling into the state of being visible. Therefore, since there are contradictory dharmas with different natures, it is not appropriate for the part with parts to be single, so I think it is time to turn it into an object of non-existence. Thus, by negating one, now only the nature of many remains. Moreover, the many are also observed separately in various ways. For example, the Vaibhashikas think that the first is the object of root consciousness, the Vaisheshikas think that it is the thing that constitutes the part with parts, and the Sautrantikas think that it is always hidden like a flesh-eating ghost, creating its own image.
