Distance and obstruction, etc., and past, future, young, old, etc., would also become simultaneous grasping, which would be difficult to avoid. Thus, up to this point, it has been shown by preventing the valid means of establishing the grasped and the grasper. Now, because there are no things from the valid means that have harm, therefore, only the mind-only is taught, and what is said is the beginning and the end, etc. The thought is this: external objects are examined by other debaters in many ways, with distinctions such as qualities and substances. Among them, the basis of qualities and other dharmas is substance, so when substance is negated, those substances and their roots will not arise. Therefore, one does not refute anyone separately, because the many are not without aggregation, so one should not refute their tenets. Substances are also of nine kinds: earth, water, fire, wind, space, time, direction, self, and mind. Among them, the self should be considered immediately. Sound is also considered to be a quality of the nature of space. Since this is the case, because they are the same, all sounds will not be heard as different. Therefore, just like the objects near oneself, in the obstructed place it appears It should also be heard whether the sound is loud or not, which is certain. Since direction and place are also one, they should not be the cause of before and after. Thinking like this, this distinction is because the things that make the difference are different. Are the before and after of the things that make the difference from themselves or from others? Among them, if according to the first case, since understanding from oneself, that is already established, so those are meaningless. If according to the second case, if it is only from direction and place, then at that time because it is one, those changes at this time are unreasonable. If it is said to be from others, then those will become meaningless. Space, direction, and place are permanent, whether they have common action or are separated from it, how can they only occasionally produce their own fruit without obtaining the distinction of their own nature? Like this, those who are capable or incapable

ed pa. The place where the essence dwells, if it is not healed because of its permanence, then what ability is there to make it cease? Thus it is said. This also refutes the mind. Those who speak of mind believe that the mind is not measured by the simultaneous arising of consciousness, but when looking at something, etc., one simultaneously experiences various consciousnesses. If this is the case, then it will never be reasonable. Therefore, space and so on are only non-existent. If it is said that earth and so on exist, then it can also be divided into two types: having parts and atoms. Among them, having parts does not exist, and atoms also do not exist, because there is no reason to establish either of them. To explain the harm to it in order, is to say the first, the last, etc. Cloth and so on are not composed of two atoms and so on in sequence, but are said to exist as the nature of having parts. Why? Because seeing form and so on has differences such as first, last, middle, etc., and the coarse nature that contradicts each other, only because of the reason of being separated from one. Thus, this says that the object of the nature mixed with consciousness, having the characteristic of being able to be cognized, is the reason for not being cognized. Thus, thus, the place changes, only the division appears, and the partless one corresponding to it, the other appearance is definitely not there. If one limb turns or shakes, then the limb with parts corresponding to it is also seen to turn or shake. But if the limb turns or shakes, but not the one with parts? Then it is seen to turn or not shake. If one limb is covered, then it is only not seen. If it is not covered, then it is difficult to avoid being too obvious. Thus, because the nature of different entities and contradictory dharmas exist, it should not be a part with limbs, so it is seen that it has reached the time to become the object of the name of non-existence. Thus, by stopping one, now the nature of many remains. It is also closely observed by many in various ways, for example, the Vaibhashikas initially truly are the object of the senses, and the Vaisheshikas
