It is said that "the eight liberations are completely pure." The eight liberations refer to the progression from "observing forms" as the first liberation, up to the attainment of cessation. It should be regarded as completely pure, and therefore it is such. "Being perfectly endowed with the vajra line" means being surrounded by a vajra garland. Why? Because "the vajra vehicle's Dharma wheel is well-turned." The vajra vehicle is the mantra vehicle, because it well-turns the wheel of Dharma. "Forms and other objects" refer to forms, sounds, and so on. Their complete purity is the absence of grasping and being grasped. Therefore, "the unsurpassed, limitless five qualities of desire" – unsurpassed means the nature of non-dual wisdom. Limitless means immeasurable. Such five qualities of desire, wherever they exist in a multi-storied mansion, that is what it is called. The five offerings are in the manner of flowers, incense, lamps, perfume, and food offerings, and they are also adorned with these. Their complete purity is "the co-emergent cause of the complete purity of the Dharmadhatu." That is to say, the complete purity adorned with the five kinds of offerings is in accordance with the cause of the sacred Dharmadhatu. Complete purity is the nature of non-dual wisdom. The sacred Dharma refers to the ten powers and the four fearlessnesses, and so on. Their realm is the lineage, the mind that is the nature of wisdom and skillful means. Their co-emergent cause means having become the result, that is the meaning. Regarding "various," etc., it is both various and also lotus petals, so it is various lotus petals. On those petals, the sun and moon are appropriately well-situated, which is "well-situated on various lotus petals, sun and moon." Being with their protectors means the multi-storied mansion that is with the dwelling place of the deities, that is what it is called. In the central and eastern directions, one should visualize the protector abiding on a moon seat on various lotus petals. In the three directions of the south and so on, it is the sun seat on various lotus petals.

One should visualize the lord abiding on the lotus. For the abodes of the goddesses such as the eye and form, one should visualize on the petals of various lotuses, the lord with the moon perfectly abiding. For the wrathful ones, one should visualize on the petals of various lotuses, the lord with the sun. "Adorned with all jewels." The meaning of this phrase is that all jewels refer to Indranila and so on, and to adorn with those jewels is to accomplish them. Wherever such a dharma arises, one should thoroughly accomplish it on the mudra of the arising of that dharma. This should be understood in this way. "Sixteen parts and" and so on, should be understood in this way: In the mandala of the central seat, one should contemplate the expanding mandala of the moon. What is the difference? It is said, "Sixteen parts and born from the assembly," sixteen parts refer to A and so on. The assembly refers to Ka and so on. Sixteen parts and the assembly are sixteen parts and the assembly. Whatever arises and is born from them is called born from sixteen parts and the assembly. "Possessing a multitude of immeasurable rays." The meaning of this phrase is that rays are the multitude of radiating light. Immeasurable is countless, the multitude of light is countless, and that is what it is called. How to contemplate it? It is said, "As in the ritual," meaning that one should contemplate the thirty-two major marks of a great being as completely pure, and the eighty minor marks as completely pure. "Supreme first" and so on, should be understood in this way: In this second moon mandala, contemplate Vajrasattva, and generate his pride. What is the difference? It is said, "The nature of the supreme first arises from the essence." The supreme first refers to the Bhagavan glorious Vajrasattva. His essence is the letter Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Because it truly arises from that, it is called born from the essence of the supreme first. "Like a red jewel" refers to a red jewel, and whatever is like it and becomes an image is called like a red jewel, meaning like a ruby.
