Why is this done? Because even grasping and obtaining a tiny bit from the teachings of the supreme lama, even if what is obtained is little, it generally loosens the bonds of samsara and becomes an antidote. It is for this reason that I have exerted myself so much in composing this method of practice. Please understand that this is not done out of arrogance of thinking I know. Now, with "Thus," etc., it is taught to completely dedicate the root of virtue: May the stainless virtue that arises from the order of such exposition, cause beings to always in their minds, together with the lord of the wisdom of the Buddhas, the form of the wheel of the mandala, that is, together with the one who possesses the wisdom of cessation and non-arising, to pour their minds upon the form of the wheel of the mandala, and may beings always practice it! The commentary on the method of practice called "Glorious Samantabhadra," composed by the great scholar Thagana, is complete. The Indian Khenpo Acharya Shradhakaravarma and the reviser translator, the monk Rinchen Zangpo, translated, revised, and finalized it. Commentary on the Method of Practice of Glorious Samantabhadra, Thagana.
