Because it is devoid of inherent existence, the nature of supreme joy is realized through a union like a mirror, and through its power, by whatever power of delusion, even though these beings are already of the nature of transcendence of suffering, if one does not understand oneself, then how can I understand these? Having thought in this way, if one considers all beings to be solely of that nature, then great compassion of a nature without object arises, and because one is also of that nature, one should contemplate the nature of all things. Then, if the yogi of the nature of all things, the meditation of the nature of great compassion becomes powerful, then the nature of all things is the nature of great compassion. Oneself is the Bhagavan Mother Prajna, another name also called Mahamudra, because it is its nature, one will see the non-dual nature as water and milk become mixed as one. When it becomes like that, at that time, one will meditate on it as becoming its nature, because it is the nature of wisdom that is inseparable from wisdom and means. Now, in order to show the suchness of the mandala in this order, faith and so on are mentioned. Faith is the characteristic of entering the Mahayana. Diligence is, after faith arises, perfecting the accumulation of merit and wisdom. Mindfulness is to continuously maintain the virtuous side, without abandoning it completely. Samadhi is to completely pacify all distractions. These are the nature of completely pure essence, which are the wrathful Yamantaka, Aparajita, Hayagriva, and Amrita Kundalin, the gatekeepers. What is called pure wisdom, wisdom is to understand that all dharmas are without elaboration. Its purity is the appearance in all realms, namely the six offering goddesses of form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and the realm of dharma, Vajra. In the Glorious Vajra Essence Ornament it is said: Form, sound, smell, and taste, Touch, the supreme Dharma, Vajra Mother, The nature of pure wisdom, Offering Goddess, miraculous power.

English

Great! Just as it is said. The term 'without characteristics' refers to emptiness, absence of characteristics, absence of wishes, and absence of compounded phenomena. To dwell in and rejoice in these is joy. Merely possessing these enjoyments are the four goddesses who embody the four immeasurables of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Regarding this, it is also said in the tantras: 'Because of accomplishing peaceful actions to the utmost, she is called the one with loving-kindness. Because she liberates from all suffering, she is said to be compassionate Mamaki. Through the union of vajra and lotus, the white-clad mother is said to be joy. She generates great joy in the world, with the nature of great desire, the essence of great equanimity, the goddess Tara abides in herself.' Thus it is proclaimed. The term 'sentient beings and meaning' and so forth, the term 'sentient being' refers to the six faculties, namely eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. The term 'meaning' refers to the objects, namely form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and phenomena. 'I' refers to the mind with afflictions, with the nature of pride. Discrimination is the discriminating consciousness that can be mixed with sound. Entering discriminating consciousness is the collection of the six consciousnesses such as eye consciousness. The nature of these discriminating consciousnesses, like a mirror, is the same as equality, the wisdom of discernment, and the nature of the wisdom of accomplishing activities, corresponding respectively to the four Tathagatas who abide in the eastern and other directions, namely Vairochana, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, and Amoghasiddhi. The term 'suchness' refers to fully knowing the reality of all things as they are, and understanding the nature of non-elaboration. Its purity is the nature of all-knowing, the essence of Samantabhadra. Its union, with the nature of the wisdom of the pure realm of Dharma, as the wheel-turning king, abides as the lord of the mandala, that is the meaning. The term 'this' refers to the five wisdoms being contained within one continuum, abiding in ultimate truth, that is the meaning. The term 'form' and so forth.

English

The illusion of earth and so on is enjoyed due to attachment to appearances, just as it is fully seen. Because these are absent, there is separation in that way. Purification through cultivating antidotes is the essence of ultimate form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, which are the five Tathagatas: Vairochana, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi, and Akshobhya. The word "etc." should be understood to include forms that arise from external elements as well. "Stinginess, etc." means stinginess, which is desire. And related to that are things like broken discipline, anger, laziness, distraction, corrupted wisdom, weakness, wrong aspirations, improper attention, and ignorance. The opposite nature of these is the nature of generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom, strength, aspiration, skillful means, and knowledge, the ten perfections, and the nature of the accumulation of qualities that are of the same kind, the ten bhumis such as Joyful Ground, and the qualities that arise as the result of these white dharmas. "Without conceptualization" means that it is not the place of all conceptualizations. The appearance of perfect self-benefit is profound, arising from profound wisdom; the appearance of perfect benefit for others is vast, being done by the nature of great compassion. Through these two alone, in order, the mind in ultimate reality is the nature of wisdom and skillful means, so profundity is the perfection of self-benefit, and vastness is the perfection of the benefit of others. Moreover, from engaging in accomplishing self-benefit, the way the mind returns from inversion is the establishment of wisdom, and the return from the absence of the ability to act on its own is the establishment of skillful means, like what was said about ultimate reality and so on. What is shown to be distinguished by the classification of nineteen views in the mandala is, in ultimate reality, the single mind of Samantabhadra, and therefore is cyclic existence.
