Because it does not possess any characteristics, it is abandoned. For example, like the white and red of a flower in the sky. Conditioned and unconditioned things, because they are not produced, are without dharma. Because there is no dharma, there is also no dharmata, because all dharmas do not exist. It is like there is no smell without a trunk. Therefore, it is called non-thing, because it is free from the grasped and the grasper, so it is the same as space. It is said: 'Liberated from all words and letters.' That is, liberation from words distinguished by pillars and so on, and letters that serve as indicators, is profound, and is not an obstacle to the distinctions of transformation. 'That' refers to self-nature. 'Time' refers to the past and so on. 'All directions' refers to the ten directions, such as the east. 'All dharmas' refers to everything from form to omniscience. They have all merged into essence, as mentioned above. It is also said: 'Not the body,' which means not something with form. 'Speech,' which means not all sounds. 'Mind' is also not, which means not all thoughts. 'Desire realm,' which means up to and including the Paranirmitavasavartin, because it focuses on form and so on. 'Form realm,' which means Brahma and so on, because it only clings to form. 'Formless realm' is not, which means the infinity of space and so on, because it relies on the body of name. These are also not, indicating that they are not sentient beings. 'The four great elements' are also not, which means from the power of dependent origination, the sequence of wind arising and so on, until the heavenly palace is built, the container world is formed, and it is not these either. So, what is it like? Therefore, and so on. 'Not abiding anywhere, equality.' That is, equality is not temporary, but relies on everything in a pervasive way. In order to show the true basis of meaning, like that and so on. Vajradhara, that is, the first protector, because it has the meaning of indestructibility. It is not immovable, so it is great. It itself does not change from the nature of the dharmas such as the aggregates, so it is dharmata. It is different from the dharmata examined by others.

For the sake of stability, it is supreme. The object to be attained through methods. This refers to the fact that although the word "kala" has many meanings, here it is summarized by two stages and four branches, in order to manifest what is truly spoken. As it is said in the Uttaratantra, "Vajradhara taught the Dharma, relying completely on two stages, namely the generation stage and the completion stage." And "Bodhi Vajra said, the methods are indeed four kinds." and so on, which are explained in detail. The object to be attained by this is the true essence of meaning. How is that itself profound? Completely separated from all discriminations. That is to say, it is separated from the various attachments to permanence, oneness, multiplicity, mixture, etc., and from the attachment to the true essence of meaning as real and impure, etc. Therefore, it is not born from these. Therefore, that itself has nine perfections, because for the person who remembers it, all the qualities such as strength will arise. That itself is difficult to measure, and even the wise cannot understand it, nor can they know it as it is. How is it manifest? The Great Seal is extremely bright. That is to say, having a face and hands, etc., is the Great Seal. That itself obscures the profound and is the conventional continuum that appears as the object of the eyes, etc. The mandala of the basis, etc., and the wisdom that is the cause of its arising, are also called that. Its function is stated: "With rays, it ripens self and others." That is to say, the light of the Bodhicitta, which eliminates all defilements, is like the moon, thereby making oneself supreme and purifying the continuum of others. The nature of those two, without duality, is supreme. That is to say, it does not fall into either extreme, and it is also called the Dharmadhatu Bodhicitta. The great Vajradhara has already been explained. The nature of the great body called unspeakable is that it is separated from words and what words refer to, etc. Even the great Vajradhara cannot speak of it, let alone others, so it is strongly shown to be the ultimate truth. That itself refers to non-dual wisdom. The Victorious One refers to Akshobhya, etc.
