The term 'word' refers to that which arises from the letter Naṃ (Tibetan: ནཾ།), possessing the characteristics of the Naga race, with an appearance like a blue bee. Visualize that the iron hooks of light rays, emanating from the letter Hri (Tibetan: ཧྲི།) residing in the sky, are used to hook and draw in the poisons that fill the three realms. Command it, saying, 'Eat it from the brain of so-and-so!' Visualize that it has been eaten, and that its consciousness remains as immovable as that of someone who has just died. Hook and draw in the suffering and so forth of all sentient beings in the ten directions, and establish it in the body of the one to be accomplished. The hammer is the burning hammer that arises from the letter Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ།). The rest is already known. The phrase 'having passed away' and so on, refers to the Vajra Krodha and others who wield axes and so forth, visualize them knocking down and cutting into pieces. The phrase 'protection' and so on, indicates that it is taught thus: As before, draw forth from one's own heart Vajrapani holding an iron hook, and with it hook and draw in its protection, samaya, and so forth, as well as the deities, and place them on one's left knee. With the sacred nectar-swirling phurba itself, recite the mantra 'Om Gha Gha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་གྷ་གྷ།)', and add the two phrases 'Sarva Duṣṭāṃ Sarva Pāpaṃ (Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्व दुष्टां सर्व पापं, Sanskrit Romanization: sarva duṣṭāṃ sarva pāpaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: All Evil All Sin)'. In this phrase, recite the exhortation 'Sarva Rakṣa Ati Mantrāṃ Daivataṃ Ścakcilāyed (Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्व रक्ष अति मंत्रां दैवतं श्चकचिलायेद, Sanskrit Romanization: sarva rakṣa ati mantrāṃ daivataṃ ścakcilāyed, Literal Chinese meaning: All Protection Super Mantra Deity Ścakcilāyed)', and pierce with the phurba, this is its meaning. The phrase 'this is' and so on, because it is the most important of all killings, therefore it is the supreme of killings. The distinction of samaya for protection and so on, is the samaya, because it is that which should not be transgressed. The phrase 'Vajra body' and so on, refers to sentient beings who possess an indestructible body and so forth, and all those such as the Tathagatas who reside in the mandala of the Wrathful Ones, all of them should be visualized as being wrathful and solely focused on killing the wicked.
