May the body, speech, and mind be blessed. Therefore, it reveals the condensed meaning of the glorious Guhyasamaja, which constantly abides in the nature of beginninglessness and endlessness. The extent of this text is three hundred and thirty-two verses praised in retrospect. Having thus revealed the condensed meaning, the tantra should be entered in order to distinguish the meanings of the branches. "Thus I have heard," and so on. "Thus I have heard" means that the compiler, Vajradharma, having kept in mind and collected all the meanings of the tantra, spoke it for the sake of teaching Maitreya and other Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. "I have heard" means that I myself heard it directly from the Bhagavan, and not from a transmitted hearing. What is it? It is the Guhyasamaja. When was it heard? "At one time" means at one moment. This shows that many different things were heard at different times. Or, "at one time" means that by the power of obtaining infinite doors of liberation, as much as was to be heard was heard in one instant. This, by showing that one is endowed with intelligence, shows that one is worthy of grasping the words. If someone's hearing comes from transmission, and he has not directly obtained the immeasurable doors of liberation, then at that time it is possible that it is incomplete. From whom was it heard? It was heard from the Bhagavan. Connect "the Bhagavan dwells." Because he has conquered the four maras, or because he has perfect fortune, he is the Bhagavan. Or, because he possesses the six qualities of dominion, beauty, fame, glory, wisdom, vajra, and diligence, or because he abides in bhaga (བྷ་ག་,梵文天城体:भग,梵文罗马拟音:bhaga,Auspiciousness), he is the Bhagavan. Because he possesses bhaga (བྷ་ག་,梵文天城体:भग,梵文罗马拟音:bhaga,Auspiciousness), he is the Bhagavan. Thus it is said: "Bha (བྷ་,梵文天城体:भ,梵文罗马拟音:bha,Light) is said to be light, ga (ག་,梵文天城体:ग,梵文罗马拟音:ga,Space) is the unchanging space, because the two are combined, bhaga (བྷ་ག་,梵文天城体:भग,梵文罗马拟音:bhaga,Auspiciousness) is called wisdom and means." Thus it is said. The body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas Vajra essence, so-called, these are both Tathagatas and all, so these four

All the departed ones, the entire expanse of space is completely filled like a sesame pod with the Vajra body and so on. Because of understanding the true Suchness, they are called Tathagatas; or, because of understanding all the dharmas that are pure in nature, and revealing them to sentient beings through one's own realization, they are called Tathagatas. Their body, speech, and mind Vajras are the nature of Vairochana, Amitabha, and Akshobhya respectively. Their essence is the great Vajradhara, the nature of which is completely produced by the atoms of all the Tathagatas. His Vajra consort is the Prajnaparamita Mother, his bhaga (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) is called Dharma-arising, as mentioned before, possessing various qualities, in the bright palace, with the abodes of all the deities possessing various seats, with the union of his own consort inseparable, the Bhagavan dwells together with all the wheels, meaning that he dwells having pleased the minds of those to be tamed with various pure means. Therefore, when the Tathagatas and other retinues dwell together with the Bhagavan in the bhaga (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) of the Vajra consort, I heard from the Bhagavan, hence it is named. In order to show that these retinues are numerous, it is said to be inexpressible and so on. Expression refers to number, those without number are called inexpressible, which is a synonym for surpassing number. The second word inexpressible shows the form, qualities, benefit of sentient beings, and manifestations of each field. The meaning that is spoken is the meaning of the number of atoms of each atom divided from the Mount Meru of the infinite Buddha lands. The mind of the nature of Bodhi is the Bodhicitta. Because of engaging in the benefit of the great assembly of sentient beings, it is the Great Bodhisattva, that is, together with them.

Those that do not become a complete retinue, having gathered them, are spoken of as "like this." Those are also shown approximately by bodhisattvas and so on, because pleasing the gods is the main part of the samaya, so it is shown first. Samaya is established as meaningful, how is it? Desire, hatred, and ignorance, the wish-fulfilling jewel is the samaya. Because it shows like this and so on, it completely eliminates all the obscurations of its own nature. The body, speech, and mind vajras are Ksitigarbha, Lokeshvara, and Vajrapani respectively. Samadhi is one-pointedness of mind, having the aspect of pleasing all the Tathagatas, its nature is Akashagarbha and so on. The characteristic of overcoming all defilements is the supreme uncontaminated great bliss, its nature is Samantabhadra. The earth, water, fire, and air vajras are the noble Buddha-locana, Mamaki, Pandara, Tara, and Samantabhadri respectively, in the seventeenth chapter it says: Earth is said to be Buddha-locana. Because it shows like this and so on. The self-nature vajras of form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma-dhatu are the six goddesses, such as Rupa-vajra and so on. The bodhicitta of all those, bodhi is prajnaparamita, for those bodhisattvas who completely eliminate obscurations and so on up to Samantabhadra, those who have the nature of being inseparably united with the form of a goddess, those are called those. Those from Buddha-locana and so on up to dharma-dhatu vajra, because they are the self-mind bodhisattvas of the wisdom nature of bodhi, therefore they are the bodhisattvas. Because they universally abide together with the nature of experiencing great bliss, therefore they are the great bodhisattvas. It is not only surrounded by the assembly of bodhisattvas that they abide, but the Tathagata is the sphere of space, those who are spoken of and shown to be equal to the extent of space.
