The Explanation of the Glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra King, Called "Moonlight." Armor of the Source of Supreme Joy. The Explanation of the Glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra King, Called "Moonlight." Armor of the Source of Supreme Joy. First: An Explanation of the Chapter on Blessing the Mandala of the Samadhi of All the Tathagatas. In Indian language: Śrī Guhyasamāja Tantrarāja Ṭīkā Candraprabhā Nāma. In Tibetan: The Explanation of the Glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra King, Called "Moonlight." Homage to the Glorious Vajrasattva! Homage to Mañjughoṣa! With wisdom and skillful means as the foremost, possessing the perfectly vast benefit for self and others, the Dharmakaya. To the supreme assembly of Buddhas and their sons, the first arising of knowledge. Abiding in the place called "Glorious Dharma Origin," together with the assembly of the Buddha's lineage, accomplishing the ultimate meaning for sentient beings. The illusory emanation body, the lord of many Sugatas, I pay homage to Vajrasattva! For the sake of sentient beings, to the wise individuals who open the lotus, delighted in true knowledge. To the protector called Vajra Acharya, I pay homage completely. Especially to the Three Jewels, after paying homage to the three syllables. I shall compose the explanation of the Glorious Guhyasamaja. What is its expression? What is to be expressed? What is the connection? What is the need? What is the need of this need? If there is no such analysis, then preconceived notions will not be appropriate, therefore, the expression and so on are shown. The expression here is Guhyasamaja. How so? Thus, secret, all the deities of the Prajñāpāramitā's bha-gar (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) are assembled. Or secret is the goddess, and their bodhicitta vajra is assembled together as samaja. Or because it is to be hidden from the Shravakas and others, it is secret. Because all dharmas are of equal nature, it is equal. Because it abides everywhere together with the nature of non-abiding nirvana, unborn is unborn. Since it is secret, and also equal and unborn, therefore it is Guhyasamaja. Bhagavan.

It is the great Vajradhara of the past. The collection of words that reveals that meaning is the Tantra. The Tantra and what is to be said are related by the nature of what is said and what is to be said. The purpose is to benefit sentient beings through the gateway of generating the mind of enlightenment and so on. Here, the beings to be tamed are also those such as outcastes who are prohibited from other tantras, because the supreme of the supreme tantras is pure in all ways. The Bhagavan said that there is not even a little impurity. Its purpose is to attain the state of the deity one desires through the power of meditation, familiarity, and stability. Thus, the meaning of these seventeen chapters will be explained. Through the first chapter, which blesses the mandala of the samadhi of all the Tathagatas, it becomes a part of the limb of the great Vajradhara. Just as the sons of Bharata make the meaning of the past appear separately, the Buddhas, who manifest the wisdom of all-knowing, show the drama of future sentient beings who are devoted to the special and are deluded, and so on, prayed to the Bhagavan to teach the Dharma. The Bhagavan also clarified that there was no interest in proceeding with the word "good." When they prayed again, he manifested the mandala, placed the Bodhisattvas of self-nature, who are no different from future beings, in the mandala, and conferred the three empowerments mentioned in the sixteenth chapter. He bestowed the vows and precepts mentioned in the fifth chapter, which is the practice of all mantras. Then, the great Bodhisattvas, who purify all the obscurations that cause future beings to show drama, and so on, reviled reality with words such as "Bhagavan," and when all the Tathagatas understood with words such as "abandon the son of the lineage," they were terrified and fainted because they did not understand. Then, in order to awaken them, all the Tathagatas prayed to the Bhagavan.

Then, having entered into the samadhi called the indivisible wisdom vajra equal to space, he empowered and aroused them as they are. Then, in order to measure all those vows for them, the Blessed One thoroughly explained the meaning of the ultimate purity itself in the chapter on the samaya of meaning. Again, after that, great bodhisattvas such as the Samaya Vajra Sri of all the Tathagatas spoke of "Blessed One" and so on. Then, when the Tathagatas made them realize with "Son of lineage, do not generate such inferior thoughts and contemptuous thoughts," they were amazed and astonished, opened their eyes, became joyful, and expressed their own realization with "The great and wonderful Dharma," and so on. Thus, in the mandala of wisdom manifestation, he accomplished the purpose of the bodhisattvas. Similarly, in order for future teachers to accomplish the purpose of sentient beings with fortune through empowerment and so on, he explained the meaning of the written mandala, that is, he spoke of the fourth chapter of the mandala of the heart of all the Tathagatas. The empowerment, samaya, and vows of these are also as before. Thus, those who have obtained samaya and vows should be given the oral instructions for accomplishing the great Vajradhara and so on. That oral instruction should also be explained as it has come from the lineage of the guru. The great monastery and other places mentioned in the twelfth chapter, which speaks of the ritual for accomplishing the samaya of the Vajra Union of all the Tathagatas. The eighth chapter of Samaya says: "A place that is clean and extremely secluded," and so on, which is clearly assembled. In the fifteenth chapter, which speaks of the true arising of the Vajra of the essence of the Samaya of all sentient beings: "Urine and feces, etc., Samaya," and so on, is applied to a soft cushion, and after generating the mind of great compassion that gathers all sentient beings, the samadhi of Vajra Arrangement
