Recite "A Kham Bira Hūṃ (ཨ་ཁཾ་བཱི་ར་ཧཱུཾ)" and place it in order on the back of the neck, the crown of the head, the roots of the right and left arms, and in the heart. I have committed sins, and whatever I have done, instigated, or rejoiced in, before all the protectors, I confess it all. Whatever merit has arisen from the self-realized Pratyekabuddhas, the Buddha Shakyamuni, and all beings, I wholeheartedly rejoice in it. To the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and sentient beings, and the supreme Dharma Jewel, and the noble Sangha of Bodhisattvas, I sincerely take refuge. I request the perfectly enlightened Buddha to teach the Dharma, please do not pass into Nirvana, please benefit sentient beings, and may they attain the supreme state. Just as the sons of the Buddhas, who have generated Bodhicitta over countless eons, I also generate this supreme Bodhicitta. May I attain omniscience, abide in the state of complete freedom, and liberate all beings from the endless ocean of samsara. To attain Buddhahood, I will strive to the best of my ability. Therefore, with firm conviction, I will make a vow. In order to attain accomplishment in this life, I will diligently practice its methods, and may I obtain freedom from all faults, possess virtues, happiness, and all perfections. Whatever virtuous deeds I have done, and whatever small deeds I may do, may this enable me and all beings to attain the state of Sugata. The twelfth. Washing the flawless with scented water. A toothbrush with flowers tied to the tip. The lama should look north and give it to the students with their palms together. They should sit in the center of a circle the size of a cow's hide. Facing east or north, cut off the tip. Throw away the unbroken part without looking straight ahead. If it falls manifestly towards oneself, all siddhis will arise without obstacles. If it falls with the mouth facing upwards, it is the siddhi of the vidyadhara. If it falls with the mouth facing downwards, it is the siddhi of the lower realms. If it falls with the mouth facing east, etc., in the order of the directions, then increase, manifestation, power, peace, etc., will be accomplished. If it falls outside the mandala, there will be no siddhi. Then, give water that has arisen from the letter bam and been recited for sprinkling and drinking. Oṃ hrīḥ viśuddha dharma sarva pāpaṃ nicā. Oṃ śodhaya sarva vikavana apa naya hūṃ. Recite this and have them drink three handfuls of scented and nectar water. Give them a kusha that is fresh and undamaged as a pillow, and give them a kusha mat to spread out, which has arisen from the letter hūṃ and been recited with coiled nectar. Tie a protective cord with three twists and three knots, which has been stabilized with three letters, on the right arm of each of them. Oṃ śuddha maitri rakṣa sarva svāhā. Protect them well with the armor of love, and praise them with a Dharma talk. Great beings, you have found today an unequaled gain. For all the victorious ones and their sons, all the great beings, will completely embrace and nurture you in this teaching. Therefore, you will be born tomorrow into the Great Vehicle. The Great Vehicle is a great arising. This supreme path is glorious. From wherever you go, great fortune will arise spontaneously. You will become tathāgatas who subdue all the worlds. You are completely beyond existence and non-existence. You are stainless like the sky. Profound realization.
