Therefore, the Vajra that cannot be specified is the nature of non-existence as it appears, only by one's own mind. This is the very nature, because it exists in this appearance. Also, that is that, and it is also the word of letters. Thereupon, analyzing the word of letters that is without self-nature, the absence of self-nature is the wisdom of the sphere of space, without obscuration, because it is the very nature of non-appearance. That itself is the word of letters, because it is the nature of steadfastness and because it is the nature of being attained. Why is that itself this? Because in ultimate wisdom, it is the very nature of equality. The characteristics of the wisdom of the essential equality are four: the characteristic of being unborn, the characteristic of being unattained, the characteristic of being unobservable, and the characteristic of being common to all sentient beings. In order to explain these very things, the "son of the family" and so forth were spoken. The so-called unborn is unborn as it appears, because it is devoid of one and many, therefore it is the very nature of non-existence as it appears. The meaning of the sphere of space, which is pure and without obscuration, is the space vajra. Among them, that which arises from conceptualization is that which completely cuts it off. Wrong grasping is pure worldly wisdom, because it grasps as true even in the realm of ultimate truth, therefore it is grasped, therefore it is pure. Because it is deluded by the appearance of non-existence, it is wrong, therefore it is worldly. Because it has a hold on this, it is said thus. If it is a wrong grasping, then how is it that in the glorious Vajra Peak, the lord of the mandala is spoken of as the self-nature body? There, the meaning is the mudra of self-nature, but not that the self itself is self-nature. When this was spoken, in order to dispel the wrong conceptualizations arising from Brahma and others, the supplication of Manjushri and others is the body of Vajradhara, the speech spoken by the Vajra and others is the very word of the Vajra, because it is the nature of non-deception, therefore it is also the Vajra, and because it is that which accomplishes enlightenment, it is speech.

That which is generated by ignorance, praying with its impermanence, is praying for non-accomplishment. That which is called "that" is the word of Vajra speech itself. Why is that? Because the Vajra realm of all Tathagatas is the realm of unobstructed space. Its essence is its own nature. Its activity is ultimate wisdom and the activities of self and others. Entering by the nature of going and following there is going, and entering by the nature of its similar body Vajra etc. is following, these two are called going and following. That The word of Vajra speech that transforms in this way is not the arising of all inversions, so it is thought. That which is called "that" is thinking about the arising of all inversions, why is that? All dharmas are the body Vajra etc. of Vajradhara. The nature of the characteristics of these is the nature of the objectless nature previously described. The teachings of the Bhagavan Tathagatas are unknowable, that is, the Bhagavan considers the body Vajra etc. as existent, while the Tathagatas teach it as non-existent, thus knowing. Vajra itself is the Dharma, and the reality of these is existence itself. Are the secret letters etc. to be explained as existent? Thus, the unreal distinctions of Brahma etc. are eliminated by Manjushri etc. First, the nature is taught, then the second and third are made masters, and then "from that" etc. are spoken, because it is the occasion when Bodhisattvas cannot know. The words spoken are, what need is there to say about you Bodhisattvas, we also do not know and have no object. What is it? It is obtaining enlightenment of body, speech, and mind Vajras etc., if the body etc. are objectless, then obtaining that is also objectless, so it is thought. What is obtained? It is the secret of body, speech, and mind Vajras, the reality of non-existence that appears as it is. That itself is the place of letters, its existence is

Because existence itself is always unchanging. How the appearing form, such as the body, is a vajra that is changing, because when it does not exist beneath it, it is always changing from existence itself. Therefore, it is not abiding, because non-existence cannot be attained. Thus, this is the characteristic of non-attainment. Why is that? Because the wisdom that appears as the self-deception of the Buddhas is also arising, and the attainment of the body and so on is also imperceptible. What is the cause of these two? It is nothing, because it is contradictory. So it is thought. Non-arising and so on are the answer. The unchanging place of non-essence is the realm of the immaculate and pure sky, the essence body of the Buddhas, which is the Dharmakaya. What arises from that is born in equality, because that is the common cause. Because it is the very nature of the imperceptible form and so on, seeing the unborn form vajra and so on is the unborn vajra. Their Abhisambodhi is attainment. The meaning is this: just as in the world, the ability to see gives rise to certainty about what is seen, so too, the Buddhas, seeing the unchanging nature of non-essence, see that the appearance of the body and so on is non-existent, and by its power, the pure worldly body vajra and so on gives rise to certainty by its nature. Whatever is perceived as the non-existence of the body and so on is their imperceptibility. That itself is the attainment of imperceptibility, so attainment is the characteristic of imperceptibility. To show the fourth characteristic, the son of the family and so on are spoken of. Bodhi is the unchanging place of non-essence, abiding in it. These are the Buddhas, the complete and perfect enlightenment, and the vajra is the body and so on, so it is the Buddha Vajra. The vajra of the body and so on is the three secrets. Wisdom is Bodhi, and these two are attainment. The Dharma nature of the three bodies of Vajra.
