The reason for saying "-can gyis" is that the conceptualization of that itself has been exhausted, and it is a praise of true wisdom. That is the Perfection of Wisdom itself. Being pleased with that is meditation itself, so it can be understood as the antidote to all unwholesome conceptualizations and the cause of true wisdom. Sins also do not adhere, because that itself exhausts all sins. "Then" refers to the aftermath of teaching this. Obscurations refer to desire for desire, malice, sleep, drowsiness, excitement, regret, and doubt, which are five. Because all of these have been completely cleared away, it is the complete clearing away of all obscurations. Wonderful means extremely amazing. Here, as a word showing amazement and wonder, it is said that way. Becoming that means the meaning of saying that. Those words themselves refer to the Blessed One and so on. Why is the word "ma" used? Because of doubt. Evil speech refers to that which is related to non-dharma. Speech refers to teachings. Whoever possesses that which has been said and expressed, it is said that way to that, meaning that non-dharma. Then, why did the master of all Tathagatas speak of non-dharma? This is amazing, because that is impossible. Also, why was that said in the assembly of all Tathagatas? This is wonderful, because that is extremely impossible. Then, for the individual ordinary bodhisattvas, very many with the nature of doubt, amazement and wonder, doubt will arise. In order to dispel the doubts of those, therefore it is that thought itself, the great bodhisattva completely clearing away all obscurations and so on, therefore prays in that way, not that he himself has doubts about those, nor is it the wrong conduct of those, because he is a noble being himself, and because he knows the meaning of the Dharma with hidden meaning through the Perfection of Wisdom. Why does the one who completely clears away all obscurations and so on pray in that way? For completely dispelling doubt,

The reason for saying that clearing away all obstacles is the main thing. The meaning of "sons of the lineage" is that the lineage of the Tathagatas is the mind of enlightenment, and its detailed classifications are ignorance and so on. What arises from that is the son of the lineage. The meaning of "abandon" is to dispel. The explanation of this is, do not say that, meaning do not say "this is not Dharma." So what is this? It says "essence" and so on. Dharma is the path, and Dharma is merely the meaning of practice with the nature of samadhi. As it is said in the Compendium of Suchness: Vajrasattva's samadhi, Is said to be the nature of the Buddhas' Dharma. From this, becoming a Buddha is a Buddha, From others, one will not become a Buddha. Like this, it is said and so on. Because it is inexhaustible, it is the one with the wisdom of the essence, that is, the Dharma of the Buddhas. Being in accordance with that, the Dharma nature of the Buddhas is pure, that is, the cessation of afflictions and karmic obscurations, this is what is called Samantabhadra's conduct. Dharma is the fifth chapter. The meaning of its essence is hidden, meaning it has a secret intention. That is also what was said before. What arises from that is abiding. Therefore, Dharma is the basis of the conduct of enlightenment, and in the basis of the conduct of enlightenment, it is the lord of abiding, because it is a great practice, it is Samantabhadra's conduct, that is what is meant. So what is the literal meaning of this chapter? What is said to be not Dharma? The mantra practitioner is attached to merit and sin without distinction, does not discriminate, is disturbed by afflictions, commits the five heinous crimes, as well as killing, taking what is not given, engaging in sexual misconduct, liking to lie, eating what should not be eaten, going where one should not go, thinking that one can achieve it, to this, which ground of the Bodhisattva is not Dharma? Having doubts about this, this is the literal meaning. What will happen when the Bodhisattva hears these words and the Buddha's teachings? Then it says "Then again" and so on.
