If it becomes false, then how can anything be true? If falsity and truth are contradictory, it is unreasonable to say that it is its own nature. If it becomes the nature of something, it will be contradictory, but not for falsity. Therefore, by the power of falsity, appearance is also false. What contradiction is there in falsity being both the appearance and its own nature? It is not possible to not distinguish falsity as it appears. This must be undoubtedly admitted, otherwise confusion will cease. Then, since there is no certainty, entering, mutual dispute, bondage, and liberation, etc., it will lead to faults. Therefore, regarding the reason that "anything is not different from clarity, so even false appearances become real things," if it is said that it is not different from the nature of things, then the reason is not established. If only difference is the reason, then it becomes uncertain, because there is a reason without it in the grasper and the grasped, etc. Therefore, regarding "clarity is also not different from that which is completely false," etc., it has already been said. Also, the Madhyamaka says: According to our view, everything is false, so no thing is real, therefore this reason does not exist without something to be proven. According to their view, since there is no valid cognition that harms the reversal, the reversal will become an uncertain doubt. Furthermore, if everything is false, then at that time no one will impute anything to anything, because there is no difference. Therefore, confusion will cease, and since there is nothing to harm imputation, nothing is proven to be false by anyone. Furthermore, if all emptiness is also false, then what can be done as ultimate truth? If it is said that it is established by valid cognition, so it is not false, then unclear things will also not become false, because it is also established by valid cognition. For example, the appearance of blue, etc., is established by the experience of everyone, and since no confusion is found in cognition, it is direct perception. Experiencing blue, etc., is confusion, and they are different in essence from it, because there is harm as previously stated.

If it is said that blue and the nature of luminosity are extremely inseparable because no distinction is observed. If that is the case, then merely establishing that there is no difference is achievable. However, if it is established that there is no difference in the things themselves, then it becomes uncertain. Therefore, the true nature of luminosity is one thing, and the false existence of blue and so on is another. Furthermore, if everything is false, then transcendental non-conceptual wisdom will never arise, because one always experiences falsehood and is accompanied by thoughts that distinguish from the truth. Some say that the cessation of mind and mental factors is transcendental true wisdom, but that is also not true. Like this, if wisdom and so on cease, then knowledge itself also ceases, let alone true wisdom. In my view, after the false appearance ceases, the transcendental wisdom that experiences non-dual luminosity arises, so there is no fault at all. Therefore, saying that everything is false is not the mark of someone skilled in debate. Here, falsity is existence imputed because of the lack of inherent existence. Luminosity is existence that is substantially present because of dependent arising. The emptiness of these two is ultimate existence, because it is the object of true wisdom. Therefore, blue and so on, because of their lack of inherent existence, will not arise or cease; they appear during delusion and simply do not appear when delusion is removed. As it is said by the venerable Nagarjuna: Things do not have production or non-production, Where is there cessation that is not there? Only these causes and conditions Are what arise and cease. The elements and so forth that are explained, Are also rightly included in consciousness. If wisdom is separate from that, Why is it not a reversed way of thinking? If that is the case, what is the difference between the Yogacara and them? Some Madhyamikas admit that the nature of luminosity is also unbearable to examine and therefore non-existent, which is not reasonable. Because it is established by direct perception without fabrication, even if all elaborations have ceased, the luminosity that follows is worldly and transworldly.
