Furthermore, the external things are also called roots (དབང་པོ།). When the objects and roots completely enter and exist in the manner of "one's own" and "by", then it is the time of gathering separately. It can be expressed in this way: the five natures such as the essence of earth, the five roots such as the eyes, for the five natures such as form and vajra, they enter without exceeding desire, that is, without obstruction. Gathering separately means that that and that are placed under one's own control in a pure way, that is, gathering separately from everything. Precisely because of this, one takes and abandons desires separately. It shows meditation, that is, it briefly summarizes the five desires. The five Buddhas are Vairochana Buddha and so on. The so-called from their combination means that it is completely pure according to the lineage. Examination is placement, and meditation refers to non-distraction. That meditation has five forms, and it becomes five forms due to the difference of seeking and so on. It is said in the *Yoga Tantra*: In all places, it refers to *The Essence of Reality* and so on. In many forms, the causes of non-distraction just mentioned are proclaimed. Now I will explain seeking and so on. The three secrets are body, speech, and mind, and what arises from them is the seeking here, that is, it arises from the three secrets. Seeking is discrimination, that is, discriminating through the way of purifying form and so on, this is the first meditation. Investigation is the absence of any discrimination, it is completely peaceful, and its enjoyer is that thing placed under one's own control, this is the second meditation. Discrimination and investigation, due to vastness and subtlety. It is said in the *Dharma Aggregate Treatise*. In the meaning of complete peace without any discrimination, the joy without outflows is the third meditation. The fourth meditation is the nature of happiness that gathers its characteristics. The fifth self-mind should be known as the separate self-awareness when the knowledge of the form of examination and the knowable arise and are exhausted. In the word "inexhaustible", because there is no arising of the knowledge and the knowable of examination, therefore the continuum of the mind that is naturally luminous and free from duality constantly arises.

It is inexhaustible, and it is spoken of in the fifth dhyana. These are all summarized in the five dhyanas. Explaining life and effort is the nature of all Buddhas, therefore it is peaceful and completely abides in all desires. The nature of the five wisdoms is the nature of wisdom like a mirror. Breath is the mind of the nature of bodhicitta. The nature of the five elements, such as earth, is that the extracted object is the secret vajra that precedes the Tathagata's entry, etc. The spherical shape is unified. The tip of the nose is the dharma origin of self-luminous awareness. In the center of the vajra, which is only a place, there is a jewel-like bodhicitta of five colors, the size of a mustard seed. In its center, one should contemplate and meditate on the mandala of the deity one desires. This is called life and effort. It is proclaimed. Or, one's own subtle sign is, and so on. Showing the holding, one's own mantra is one's own seed syllable. What is called the heart is the center of the wisdom sattva's mudra. Having contemplated the nature of bodhicitta, the size of a chanka bone. Life is the face of the god of desire, it is the mind. In its center, one should meditate on the discriminating mind that does not spread outward, and it should be placed. Prevention is immovable, because it is free from external movement. One's own beginning is one's own mind, and that itself is a jewel, and holding it is holding. It is proclaimed. The secret mantra in the form of a sacred bindu, one should fully practice in accordance with one's own mind. The mind is light, and so on. Obstruction is an immovable thing, the vajra is indivisible, and transformation is the mind. From stability, the correct holding of signs will arise. How many signs are there, and what kind of signs are they? It is said that first, like the appearance of a mirage, second, like the tip of smoke, third, like the appearance of space, fourth, like the appearance of a burning lamp, and fifth, it is always visible, because it is clear light, so it is like a cloudless sky. In subtle yoga, when it becomes stable, then joy will arise.
