It also pervades the continuum of all sentient beings because it has become the master of desire, and desire is also the oral instruction that bestows all attainments, therefore it arises accordingly, and it is also the cause of rejoicing in the great bliss of the uncontaminated. The nature of wisdom and means, the great bliss without defilement, the nature of self-awareness, is Samantabhadra. Great desire, Bhagavan, because of the subsequent attachment to all accomplishments, great offering, great desire, makes all sentient beings happy. This is from the scripture. It is also said that: Eliminating the collection of all sufferings, wanting to liberate from the cause of suffering, therefore, to all sentient beings, it is said to generate compassion. Whoever manifests the power of desire, therefore, is like the fruit of a boat. Whoever combines in accordance, that is said to be the means. Like milk and water, whoever is the collection of essence, with non-dual union, that is said to be wisdom and means. Because it is obtained by this, it is the way. What is that? It is samadhi, the yoga of the nature of wisdom and means. The absorption of wisdom and means, yoga, this is from the later tantra. From that, absorption is manifest, and with the most compliant absorption, focusing on all the worlds of those to be tamed, pervading all the realms of space, those Tathagatas are all absorbed into this, because the previous aspirations are awakened, and also because the power of samadhi is inconceivable. Although the Tathagatas are always in equanimity, whoever enters into samadhi shows it, because by abiding in equanimity itself, one should enter into teaching the Dharma and so on. And it should also be done for the purpose of teaching, that through this path one will attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Because other means do not lead to Buddhahood, this is because it is said in the later tantra. Speak of unobstructed other unions, the pure way of arising of inequality and equality. And, desire itself is the great secret, the supreme ectar essence of all bliss. This is from the Secret Bindu.

Thus, whatever is meditated upon for a long time, and with such reverence, without interruption, that becomes clear, not something else. How do desires and other conceptual thoughts appear there? And how is there attachment to self? In that, the absence of self is not powerful. Meditating on the aspect of bliss in the mind, in the continua of oneself and others, the yogi of the unsurpassed vehicle, therefore, it becomes clear there. Sages, children, women, all seek happiness. By the distinction of the vast continuum, it is considered to be five kinds. Whatever is supreme, meditate on that, and unite yoga with it. Bliss in that which has conceptual thought, the vast continuum is greatly praised. Established there by valid cognition and scripture, therefore it is not inverted. Those themselves become certain, are sages, but not ultimate, but that itself is the cause of bliss and so on, therefore the yogi is the cause of enlightenment for oneself and others, and if those other than this, how are they the cause of samsara? For example, whoever does not see that, the mind is the poison of inversion. Seeing that, that is the nectar, the mind is not inverted. Therefore, whoever is bound by ignorance, here the sage is liberated by that. Such and so on comes from the "Glorious Supreme First." From experiencing the aspect of bliss, because desire and so on arise, samsara is not interrupted, by that root, beings remain. The cause of attachment, desire, and so on, is not the reason for bliss. The cause of that is ignorance, in the non-dual mind, that is also not there. In the Commentary on Valid Cognition, "I" and "other" are truly superimposed, the dharma of desire is those themselves. If there is no inverted superimposition, there is no desire even for bliss. Therefore, the teacher Guṇaprabha said: Does distraction by external objects cause the loss of samadhi? Answer: The inner bliss born from samadhi, the bodily bliss born from the body, is in accordance with samadhi. For what reason, thus suffering is the cause of sorrow, and because equanimity is not necessary, it is not meditation, therefore both are not, only bliss is to be meditated upon.
