Now, do not deceive, and also establish in Dharma and truth. Also, do not become negligent towards the foundations of learning. If one has a wrong view of emptiness, then one will also be ignorant of knowable things, and will slander all knowable things. Based on this, sentient beings will also be born in hells, and will destroy others who desire Dharma and desire to be liberated from suffering. One will also become negligent towards the foundations of learning, and thus, slandering things as they truly are is more degenerate than this Dharma and Vinaya. If someone asks, how does one have a wrong view of emptiness? Whether it is a renunciate or a Brahmin, if they do not accept that anything is empty of anything, nor do they accept that anything is emptied by anything, this is called having a wrong view of emptiness. Why? Because that which empties something does not exist, and the emptiness itself exists, this is reasonable. If everything does not exist, then where, what thing, is emptied by what? Therefore, it cannot become emptiness by that. Therefore, such a view is having a wrong view of emptiness. If someone asks, how does one have a wrong view of emptiness? Because in anything, anything does not exist, therefore one correctly sees that it is emptied by it, and one correctly knows that whatever remains in this, it truly exists here, thus truly knowing like this is called entering emptiness truly and without inversion. For example, for things named form, etc., as previously stated, there is no basis for establishing form, etc., and the nature of words, therefore, things named form, etc., are empty of the nature of words that establish form, etc. What remains of things named form, etc.? For example, it is merely the basis for establishing form, etc., and words, both of which are like this: truly knowing that only things exist, and only establishing as things exists, one does not add to what does not exist, and one does not slander what truly exists. One does not add more, nor does one reduce. Nor does one subtract.

Nor will it add to you. The true nature that cannot be spoken of, know it as it is. This should be declared, the well-grasped emptiness, with true wisdom, know it well and individually. Therefore, the Middle Way, free from the extremes of addition and slander, is the Middle Way. It is also the reason for distinguishing between the middle and the extremes. Furthermore, regarding Suchness, who can obscure it or what can it obscure? Your conventional truth is false. The aggregates created by causes are designated as persons, as the world says. What obscures everything is conventional truth. Ignorance itself obscures the Suchness of the ultimate truth, as Chandrakirti says. Then, does this exist or not for the enlightened one? If it exists, how can it be enlightened if it obscures the knowable? It is other than mere conventional truth. Samsara is not seen to exist, and that is Nirvana, thus it exists. This is what the Ornament says. If it does not exist, how is it not annihilation? Because the self-aware perception is not acknowledged as the ultimate truth. If it is acknowledged, then one becomes an acknowledger who acknowledges that all conventional truths are Suchness. Even if we are false, we are perception itself because we are not deluded about our own nature. Therefore, even in the state of pure worldly wisdom, the Bhagavan is not deluded because all the natures of all aspects are completely cut off. For nature, everything is not deluded, for other natures it is reversed. This is what the Ornament says. Therefore, in the Holy Lankavatara Sutra it says: The Holy One has not seen falsehood, that is not that, that is different, falsehood itself is that, that changes, because that and that are different. Thus. The yogi's perception is also conventional because it cannot be analyzed. If you say so, it is not right, because your analysis itself shows that it cannot be analyzed. Therefore, that particular refutation itself is said by the wise to be the ultimate truth, which is what those who understand reason say there and there. If it is thoroughly established that everything does not exist, then it is not perception, nor inference, it is a measure.
