It was declared in the mandala of... The outer part is also square. In the "Introduction Chapter," it says, "The great samaya mandala is square," to show this characteristic, so the outer cloister cannot be made round. Therefore, the order of the meditation mandala is clear. It is pervaded by the five objects of desire. This refers to the objects of desire, because it is the cause of generating sacred bliss, and to become accustomed to considering the form of the deity as a merit. The five objects of desire are form, vajra, etc. Pervaded means being fully established and possessed in their respective positions. The phrase "adorned with various offerings" means adorned with the forms of the offering goddesses who rely on the cloister. This shows everything about the mandala itself, and the rest, such as the "Wisdom Lamp," etc., have already been shown in the introduction. Thus, the support, the supported, and the place of support are shown. Now, for the mandala of all Tathagatas, the colors and symbols by which the main deities are generated are temporarily declared, such as "after meditating," etc. For the mandala that has just been shown in this way, after meditating briefly. The phrase "form is to be meditated in the center" means that in the center of the mandala of the main deity's body, one should meditate on the great Vajradhara as he is, who is complete and prior to everything. As it is said in the thirteenth chapter, "Having well meditated on the form of the Buddha, well meditate on Vairochana," etc., it is shown by the words that are spoken. Vairochana, etc., show the difference in form. It is called "Mahamudra" because it possesses color and characteristics. The phrase "blessed by body, speech, and mind" means blessing the body vajra, etc. This also declares the seed of meditating on the four limbs, which is the concluding phrase called "completing the order of the four limbs," and this also applies to all that will be explained. The phrase "body, speech, and mind vajra" refers to the great Vajradhara. The phrase "Immovable" refers to the wrathful vajra. The phrase "associated with the two accumulations" means the cause of the accumulations of merit and wisdom.

It means "to enter into samadhi by combining skillful means and wisdom." This is related to what comes before and after. The so-called "illuminating" is the nature of the wisdom that discerns each thing as it is, and therefore it dispels the darkness of ignorance. The so-called "Buddha's mandala" is the mandala of the Buddha as the main deity. The mandala of the Vajradhara is also the mandala of the Buddha, because the Buddha is referred to as Vajradhara. This comes from the phrase "The Buddha is Vajradhara." This shows that here there is the mandala of the Bodhisattva as the main deity. Moreover, in the sixteenth chapter it is said, "Whoever is the supreme Vajradhara, whose form is well-drawn in the center, his mandala becomes the place, arising from the speech of body, speech, and mind." Because it is superior to all, is it not the case that Vajradhara is shown here first as having been attained? If you ask why it is shown closely between Vairochana and Akshobhya, it is for the sake of its color and characteristics, and so on. Therefore, the vajra here is not nine-pointed. Because it is a form of great importance, it is of great importance, that is, the body. Reciting mantras that the wicked cannot endure is a terrifying speech. Because it has the intention of destroying all demons, it is terrifying, that is, the mind. Crystal is a fragment of stone. The moon is the one with the rabbit. Their light is clear and white, meaning to contemplate Vairochana as being like moonlight. The so-called "holding a wheel in hand" means having characteristics such as a wheel. The so-called "adorned with a hair knot" is the excellence of all. The so-called "like the golden light of the Jambu River" means being equal to pure gold, one should contemplate Ratnasambhava. The so-called "nine-pointed great vajra" means that the nine-part jewel is called the great vajra, and its meaning is Ratnasambhava. The so-called "like the light of emerald" means that the color is green. The so-called "adorned with blazing vajras" means surrounded by irreversible flames. The so-called "well contemplating the jewel in hand" means that it is thus the complete jewel sovereign.

It is said that the light pervades all directions. The meaning of this is to contemplate the immeasurable rays of light emanating from Ratnavajra, and to contemplate it in his hand. (End) "Like the light of a red lotus jewel" means that the light is extremely red and the nature of the first. "Having burning desire" means that it is the nature of attachment with great compassion without object. "Like the light of five kinds of light" means that the color is green, and it is viewed as accomplishing wisdom. As it is said, in the introductory chapter, in the manner of green, black, and white. (End) "Peaceful" means having a peaceful and charming appearance, and this is also the characteristic of all Buddhas except for Akshobhya. (End) In order to eliminate doubts about the complete manifestation of the Buddhas, it is said that the Dharmadhatu is blessed. Starting from "After" etc. The dhātu (धातु, dhātu, element) of dharmas (धर्मा, dharmā, laws) is suchness. Svabhāva (स्वभाव, svabhāva, self-nature) ātma (आत्म, ātma, self) is who possesses it, that is ahaṃ (अहं, ahaṃ, I), that is how it is. (End) After the initial union is completed, the yogi with a steadfast mind should perform the illusion of the mandala and so on. As it is said, in the Compendium of Thatness: "If the mind is steadfast, the yogi should draw the supreme mandala." (End) In order to make the mind steadfast, it is said to meditate on subtle yoga. Starting from "Five" etc. Because it is the nature of the five wisdoms, it has colors such as white and so on. (End) "Tip of the nose" means that from the oral instruction it is the tip of the lotus, and inside the bindu is the mandala of one's own deity and retinue. (End) As it will be explained: "Going and not going in the mustard seed." (End) "Diligently" means with an undistracted mind. (End) "The ground of the yogi" means that skillful means and wisdom enter equally. (End) "Constantly" means until the signs appear. (End) As it is said, in the Compendium of Thatness: "When the vajra is subtle and pleasant to the touch, when will the signs appear? Even in the realm of space, these signs should also appear." (End) From the eighteen characteristics of obtaining signs, "Like a mirage is the first" and so on indicate. (End) Therefore, the yogi should know the signs of good and non-good here.
