The first, called "etc." These have already been explained in chapter twelve, so they should be understood from there. Ordinary accomplishment should be practiced. This means that those who wish to accomplish ordinary siddhis should practice the practice that possesses the four limbs. The supreme is the accomplishment of Buddhahood itself. Wisdom nectar itself, wisdom itself causes the attainment of non-abiding nirvana, therefore it is nectar. Therefore, one should practice the practice characterized by the union of six limbs. What is said here is practice, etc. Practice means to please. Accomplishment means to accomplish Buddhahood. If one accomplishes something else, the supreme siddhi will not be accomplished. This is because a result cannot arise from an incomplete cause. Separately gather, etc., indicates the six limbs. Of these, the meaning of separately gathering is explained first, which is the faculties, etc. The respective functions of the faculties and the ten objects, abiding in the function itself, separately gathering the mind from all elaborations, and making the mind unattached, this is what is meant by separately gathering here. Because of separately gathering desires, it is because one separately gathers the mind of attachment, etc., towards each object. These will show that the mind that is separated from the conceptualizations of aggregates, elements, and sources, etc., and becomes one taste in emptiness, is called separately gathering here. That is, like what is said: The yogi of separately gathering, diligently strives in emptiness meditation, the mind becomes without an object, and is abandoned by the grasper and the grasped. The meaning of meditation is explained, which is the five desires, etc. The mind that is the nature of desire, hatred, ignorance, as well as pride and jealousy, is the five desires. That is, like what is said: Desire is called mind, possessing desire, hatred, and delusion, as well as possessing pride and jealousy, is the master of the complete Buddha. The union of the five Buddhas refers to the nature of Akshobhya, etc. The meaning is

This is it. Whatever is determined in the manner of the thusness of wisdom, which is inseparable from this afflicted mind, is said to be meditation. Moreover, a Bodhisattva who contemplates and meditates is said to be meditation. Conceptual thought ceases, that is meditation; meditation is the realm of activity of the Buddhas. Otherwise, those who contemplate emptiness, the first yogis are all foolish. Because their intelligence has become extremely foolish, they go down the path of the Tirthikas. Thus it is taught. "Thought and..." and so on, are the explanations that show the divisions of meditation. In "Secret..." and so on, the individual thoughts of the mind, and the generation of the mind of enlightenment, and the characteristics that have become the teachings of the Vajra are the three secrets. Because of thinking about these, they are called "thinking." Because one enjoys with the very nature of the Vajra and all the Tathagatas, it is all-encompassing enjoyment and is the nature of truly thinking, therefore it is called "investigation." These very five Abhisambodhis are called the words of "thinking" and "investigation." Moreover, in the Vajrasekhara, if one dwells well in the five unions, it is not difficult to attain Buddhahood and enlightenment. Oṃ citta pratibedhaṃ karomi (藏文,梵文天城體,梵文羅馬擬音,嗡,citta pra-ti-be-dhaṃ ka-ro-mi,mind, penetration, I do). Oṃ bodhicitta utpādayāmi (藏文,梵文天城體,梵文羅馬擬音,嗡,bodhi-citta ut-pā-da-yā-mi,bodhicitta, generate, I). Oṃ tiṣṭha vajra (藏文,梵文天城體,梵文羅馬擬音,嗡,tiṣṭha vajra, stay, vajra). Oṃ vajrātmako'ham (藏文,梵文天城體,梵文羅馬擬音,嗡,vajrāt-mako'ham,vajra, self, I). Oṃ yathā sarva tathāgata stathā ahaṃ (藏文,梵文天城體,梵文羅馬擬音,嗡,yathā sarva tathāgata stathā ahaṃ,as, all, tathagata, so, I). Through these five unions, the five mudras will be perfectly attained. Thus it is taught. Here, some say: "Two months and that one month, change, gathered by the Vajra emanation, perfected by Samantabhadra," these are the five Abhisambodhis. Moreover, it should be understood that up to the perfection of the Vajra, it is spoken of in terms of "thinking." The others are shown in terms of "investigation." "Similar to joy" means that the Tathagatas who pervade the sky are drawn into one's own body, and then the nature of the goddesses such as the eyes are taken out, and one meditates on merging into what is similar to oneself, and from that, mental happiness arises, so it is called "similar to joy." "Gathered bliss" means that it is because it has become the nature of the true union of the Vajra and the lotus. Knowing and what is to be known, the excellent arises, one should know one's own mind as the fifth.
