It should be known from the oral instructions. "Holding the vows" means either through the union of deities generated as one's own appearance, or by diligently upholding vows and commitments. "Enjoying" means being satisfied by dwelling in devotion to one's own consort. "Body, speech, mind, and enjoyment" refers to the great Vajradhara himself. "Vajra born from the three secret places" refers to the nature of method and wisdom, supremely uncontaminated, the very nature of great bliss. "To be accomplished" means to perfect oneself. "Good" means to generate all virtues for all sentient beings at all times. "Here, it will never perish" means that here, even actions that are considered contradictory are engaged in for the benefit of sentient beings. In whatever way, it is accumulating the accumulations of merit and wisdom. There is no exhaustion or destruction for me. Having generated a superior intention, and with the union of deities as a preliminary for the purpose of benefiting others, one should engage in diligence at all times. This is what it is teaching. As for the word "intention," its meaning is easy to understand. To dispel weariness from meditation, the ritual is permitted. Starting with "Thereafter," it is said like this: A yogi who is weary from meditation and so on, on his own head, measures a palm's height, with the five ambrosias residing in the center of the lunar mandala. He looks at the letter (Oṃ, oṃ, om, 唵) residing therein, its rays of light becoming liquid like melting butter. Then, a stream of nectar as cool as snow drips from the crown of the head down to the soles of the feet, like washing the body, making the entire body, including the Vajra body, satisfied according to the ritual. Do not build stupas. The meaning of this is that for a yogi who wishes to meditate without interruption, the perfection of his own deity is itself the work of building a great stupa. Striving for recitation, reciting mantras itself is reading scriptures. Meditating on the mandala that pervades the ten directions, possessing vastness and other qualities, is itself an extremely vast mandala. Why do anything with external, distracting thoughts? Why should a yogi accumulate small accumulations of merit to build stupas?

Do not engage in activities such as building houses. Those who sometimes abide with pride arising from the practice of meditation are not prohibited, as it is the cause of accumulating merit. Alternatively, do not read scriptures. This is said to be a prohibition only on reading without regard to the meaning. That is, one should read here with the body. What good is it to read with speech? What benefit is there to the sick from merely reading medical texts? So it is said. "Arising from the mind," another meaning of this term is that here the meaning is arising from the mind, so it is arising from the mind, such as feelings and thoughts, as well as perceptions and desires, contact, and so on. These should not be done. This means not giving the mind a chance to be distracted by discursive thoughts. With regard to the Three Vajras and so on, one should not prostrate like ordinary beings. It is not that one should not do it at all, because the ritual of prostration has already been explained. The ritual of consuming poison is taught for the sake of beings who are to be tamed. From then on, and so forth, placing the syllable (Tibetan: བྷཱུཾ་) in the center of the wheel means that, possessing the yoga of the crown-wheel-turning king and so on, one should place a piece of poison in the center of the eight-spoked wheel arising from the syllable (Tibetan: བྷཱུཾ་) on one's left hand. Some believe that it should be in the center of the wheel like the shape of the letter "ཐ". Then, place three syllables with white rays of light on it, then make it white, think of it as nectar, touch the tip of the ring finger, first grasp it with the two incisors, and eat it with the fearless yoga of one's own white deity form, and the poison will disappear. In order to subdue the arrogance of those who eat poison, such as heretics, it will similarly become stiff with burning yellow light. To make it a great poison, it should be placed in the great poison of black light, the Halahala. Similarly, it will become heavy because it has very great power. When applying it, one should imagine it to be very much like a burning flame. Similarly, the removal of poison residing in the body of the one to be accomplished should also be done according to the ritual. Now, in a state of distraction, protecting oneself and others.
