One who abides in the mandala of deities that are in accordance with oneself should perform the union of Manjuvajra as it is. It is said in the eighteenth chapter: "Arrogance distinguishes colors, likewise, it is the essence of experience." And also from the words, "In attachment, everything is the nature of attachment." Then, in his hand, with the letter (Tibetan: ཎཾ, Devanagari: ṇam, Romanized Sanskrit: ṇam, Literal meaning: ṇam) make a bow. With the letter (Tibetan: རཾ, Devanagari: raṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: raṃ, Literal meaning: raṃ) make five arrows. With the letter (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: oṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) contemplate as the bowstring, and on its crest, contemplate its lord in the same way, and in front, the one to be subdued should be made into a target, red in color, without clothes, with a fearful appearance, and obedient. Then, with the letter (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: oṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) draw the bow, and with the letter (Tibetan: ཨཿ, Devanagari: āḥ, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal meaning: Ah) release the arrow. With the letter (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) on the forehead, the two eyes, the heart, and the secret place, repeatedly recite one's own mantra as it is, and contemplate piercing. Likewise, one should also contemplate one's own lord and the mandala deities striving to pierce it. The one to be subdued should also be contemplated as a body pervaded by the rays of red arrows, with the head bowed at the feet, palms joined, as if fainting. If asked which ones, it is said in the scriptures: "The mind of a child is of great fame." Because it is the form of a young girl, and because it is the nature of the wisdom of all Buddhas, the mind of a child is Manjuvajra. One's own lord and the mandala deities are also accomplished by being extremely famous, and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are endowed with great fame. In the ritual of showing the mandala for introducing disciples, "Space Vajra" and so on, the meaning here is that after the disciple has entered the mandala of Vairochana and so on as it is, with the letters (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: āḥ, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal meaning: Ah) (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: oṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) etc., contemplate the mind vajra and so on, and with one's own seed syllable, contemplate the wisdom being as it is in its place. Place the letter (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: oṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) in the two eyes, and show the mandala as it is. Some think that the method of union that is subdued by this treatise is spoken by others. For this, the ritual here is that the yogi of glorious Vajrasattva, with the letter (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) etc., with the forms of the young girl and the three vajra youths etc.
