It is called "Possessing the Earth Mandala." Because it is the support of the Buddhas who are constant and uninterrupted in their nature of gathering, radiating light, assembling, and agitating. It is called "Many lights agitate, the abode of all Tathagatas." There it is said that sentient beings dwell, starting from "Then" and so on. The so-called "Lord of Body, Speech, and Mind Vajra" is the agent. It should be regarded as a word of action, like before, that the great mandala dwells in the center by the power of blessing. Since it is not appropriate to reveal secrets and supreme secrets just by entering, therefore it is said that empowerment is given to them, starting from "Then" and so on. The so-called Bodhicitta Vajra is the great Vajradhara in whom emptiness and compassion are inseparable. As it is said: "Emptiness and compassion are inseparable, it is called Bodhicitta." Thus. The so-called "dwelling in the heart" is the cause of empowerment, meaning that all the Tathagatas urged by the seed enter the heart and melt into the moon. The empowerment he performs is shown by the second Dhyana, which will be explained in the seventeenth chapter. Now, in order to answer the meaning of "gathering," the second word of the first ritual belonging to the letter that has become the meaning of the moon, from "Then" to "dwelling in the Vajra nature" is explained. The so-called "Then" is the moment of supplication. The so-called "all Tathagatas," because they can act in this way, so it is said to others as well. The so-called "Subduing Vajra" is the clinging to reality gathered by the infinite assembly of sentient beings, subduing the three suchness, dwelling on the seat in the center of the mind, all the Tathagatas see him, and in order to manifest enlightenment, fearing that the work they have done will be interrupted, they become letters symbolizing sound and meaning in the realm of the master, this is subduing, because it is indivisible, so it is Vajra, that is, dwelling in it. If you ask: What will happen immediately after dwelling in it? The answer is: All the realms of space, that is, the decay equal to the realms of space.

It is the abiding place and the nature of all Buddhas. "To abide in the nature of the vajra" means: appearing from the realm of the master, abiding on the top of the palace, and, with its wisdom, drawing the minds of sentient beings, merging into one, and, descending from the support and transforming into two moons, is the nature of the vajra, which is the meaning of abiding in its own nature. Although it is not explained in the sound transmission of the letters transforming into two moons, there is no contradiction because the Bhagavan possesses emptiness and the heart of compassion's Bodhicitta. For example, with the words "All things are unborn, therefore A is the door of all dharmas," the letters A, etc., show the pride of emptiness, which is the nature of the sixteen emptinesses. Its letter form becomes doubled, and it is also the cause of the thirty-two major marks. Similarly, with the words "Ka ru karma akshara," ka, etc., show great compassion, arising from A and making it manifest, which is the nature of skillful means. Its transformation into double is also the cause of the eighty minor marks. Therefore, it is known that by the power of transforming emptiness and compassion, it appears like the fourth empowerment and benefits sentient beings. Appearing as two moons also shows the mirror-like wisdom. The combination of its radiating and gathering light shows the wisdom of equality. Since it is the matching first ritual, it is shown by one samadhi. This is the worldly gathering, which is explained in some of the great yoga tenets: As it is said, "The Buddhas who abide in their own nature, hold the form of three letters, and abide greatly as my cause. The Buddhas who manifest, hold the form of Ali Kali, and they also abide in my cause. Therefore, they are called the gathering." Now, from "From then on," etc., belonging to the answer to the second request, the sentient beings are requesting the moon with the five-sentence prayer of empowerment. The so-called "From then on" is immediately after the empowerment of chapter seventeen. The so-called "By the blessing of Vajrasattva" refers to the nature of the collection of all Tathagatas.
