The term "ba" refers to recitation, saying that by reciting countless times, one receives the prophecy of the deity, and by reciting one hundred thousand times, one can accomplish the activities of all deities such as peaceful ones, thus it is said that one can accomplish all activities. Regarding its own special qualities, it is said: Even in times of drought, one can cause rain to fall with a mandala of water. This is the ritual: the powerful yogi should visualize everything as red and recite one hundred thousand times. Then, in an unused earthenware pot, write with ram's juice the mantra of the Spear-Wielding Mother, oṃ śūlini nam svāhā (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཤཱུ་ལི་ནི་ནཾ་སྭཱཧཱ།,梵文天城体:ॐ शूलिनि नम् स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ śūlini nam svāhā,汉语字面意思:嗡,持矛者,囊,梭哈), which resides on the eight-petaled lotus on the wheel of the eight-pointed sword. Then, combine it with another unused earthenware pot, wrap it with blue-red thread, and invite the Spear-Wielding Mother and her earth-subduing deity, make offerings well, and place it inside a lake or spring where the nagas reside. Oneself, in a secluded place where there are no people, place wind on fire, and on that draw a round water mandala with eight lotus petals. In the center of that, draw a water deity residing on a ḍākinī with a protruding belly, with a male face, having a crest of seven serpent heads, one foot as a naga, and throwing a serpent lasso. On the eastern petal is boundless green, on the southern petal is wealth-increasing white, on the western petal is joyful red, on the northern petal is black Karkoṭa. On the petal of the fire corner is white lotus, on the petal of truthlessness is a great white lotus, on the petal of the wind corner is conch-holding yellow, on the petal of power is a lineage-possessing variety of colors. Having drawn the naga mandala in this way, contemplate the nagas with the letter nam according to the ritual that has been spoken, invite them with the nam placed in the earthenware pot, and dissolve them into their respective places. Then, make offerings well with green and astringent milk, brown sugar, and other offerings suitable for the nagas, and say as it has been said: Great nagas, please make me very happy, and according to the command of the Bhagavan, please send down a stream of rain. Reciting in this way, thinking that the nagas are sending down rain, rain will fall. If it still does not fall, then on a green round haṃ, draw the powerful one in the same way, and the eyes

Then, perform the fire offering according to the ritual described below. In the middle of the tongues of all the nagas, write the letter Naṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), and precede it with incense offerings and tormas, etc. Offer three portions each of burnt offerings filled with brown sugar, milk, and butter. Then, perform the fire offering with milk, etc., as desired. When they are satisfied, they will cause rain to fall. If that doesn't work, then take fierce action. Constantly practice the yoga of the powerful black one. Mix soil from Nepal, two portions of water, and excrement and urine to make a paste. Fashion a three-cubit-high image of a naga. On the ground of a charnel ground, draw an eight-spoked wheel of swords with poison, blood, mustard seeds, salt, and mustard oil. On top of that, draw an eight-petaled lotus. On the lotus, write the essence mantras specific to the eight nagas, or the general essence mantra. In the center, write the heart mantra of the water deity. After invoking it, insert it into the heart of the image. Smear all the limbs with three hot substances and mustard seeds, etc. Fumigate it over the fire and recite mantras, and rain will fall. If that doesn't work, draw a mandala of nagas on the ground as before. Wear an upper garment and blue silk, or wear red clothes, or even appear naked. Visualize the naga residing in the center of the left foot, blessed by the vajra residing in the blazing sun. Press down on the head of the naga residing in the mandala of nagas, forcing it to look towards the sky. Or frighten it, causing it to raise its head, open its mouth upwards, and utter the sound "Phu," filling the sky, vomiting blood, and causing rain to fall, turning into an ocean. Then, recite the mantra, adding "rnams" at the end of each word, and rain will fall. If that doesn't work, make a triangular fire pit. In the center of it, visualize the powerful one. Light a fire taken from the house of an outcaste. Fashion an image of a naga with poison, salt, datura, and mustard seeds, etc. Nurture it with saliva. Recite the mala mantra, and starting from the tip of the tail with the left hand, smear the body with excrement and urine. Cut it and cut it, and perform one hundred and eight fire offerings, and rain will fall. If that doesn't work, say that this fault is the powerful one's. Fashion an image of the powerful one with the materials mentioned above.
