Those who live on the three whites (milk, yogurt, and butter), and some who want to eat meat, distinguish between clean and unclean meat, and have no oral instructions; the gods of the desire realm live on nectar, and consider the food of the mouth to be impure, these are all just viewed in this way because of their respective states of birth and the realization of their lineage. The nature of reality is unborn, pervades everything, and purity and impurity are not established separately in their own nature. For those who do not understand this, in order to liberate them from being bound by their own concepts, by practicing these, they should be freed from their own one-sided views; and in order to be able to enter the gate of the meaning of equality by the same method, therefore, offerings are also made to the Buddha, and one also eats and drinks oneself. The purpose of doing this is to let them see that if doing so does not displease and can be accomplished smoothly, then compared to that, my concept must be wrong. On the one hand, the oral instructions I have given do not lead to better results; on the other hand, if one practices without oral instructions, one does not incur more faults. Compared to that, such understanding is also not a standard that is necessarily accomplished, so the thought of abandoning this mind of acceptance and rejection also arises. If these are blessed in this way, such signs will appear, and if combined with the arising of these abilities and powers, it is certain that other merits will also be obtained. If combined with this, it is also certain that it will be accomplished in the same way as other methods. Enter the reasoning of thought, enter the meaning of practice, and generate diligence. Through the purification sequence of these subtle concepts, abandon the great concepts, and generate the mind that leads to equality, thereby entering the unerring meaning and placing it in a state of certainty, because it has such merits, it is also taught in this way. Those flesh-eating rakshasas and others think that they have decline and power because they have eaten human flesh, they think so, but they do not understand that this is the power obtained because of the fruits of past deeds. In order to make them understand this, it is taught to eat great meat and so on. By purifying and blessing these, abilities and powers arise through special blessings, so that even those who eat the flesh of others will become tired of their own abilities and develop faith in the abilities of yogis.

Having arisen, (they) are seen as the same field of activity, thereby taking the vows of secret mantra, and also eating and showing them in order to become friends of yogis. Furthermore, in order to abandon the acceptance and rejection of viewing (them) as pure and impure, they are actually enjoyed, and one is not stained by their habits, and in order to generate special abilities, they are blessed, and offerings are made to oneself and others, served and enjoyed. Such reasons, etc., have already been explained in detail in the chapter on the explanation of the root tantra. Although the order may be confused due to the ordinary meaning, the method of practicing the samadhi of the yogi who blesses the nectar has already been explained in detail. Here, it is only briefly explained by the ordinary meaning of separating the root tantra and the subsequent tantras. If it is to be explained in detail repeatedly, there is no need because there are many words and letters. The merits of holding and accepting the five nectars and five hooks are clearly shown in this tantra and all others. Now it is the fifty questions. "What are the five heroes like?" As an answer to this (question): When arising in the three syllables, contemplate the things to be accomplished as accomplished, and if you eat the five heroes in this way, it is not like giving alms. (This sentence means that it can be accomplished quickly). Some others say that the five heroes refer to the five seed syllables, the essence of the five families. Some say that it refers to the five nectars blessed with the hero syllable. Some say that the five hero seeds refer to the five hooks. None of those are correct. Why? First of all, the five hero seeds, the letters are formations that do not correspond to the mind. In terms of shape, they are established as the essence of the five families, and in terms of the five names, they only represent the five families. For things whose shape is uncertain, suddenly and arbitrarily assigning names, yogis can observe, speak, and show to others, but because they cannot be designated as things that can be eaten and drunk, they are not those (five hero seeds). Secondly, it is not that the five nectars are blessed by them (five hero seeds), why? By blessing the five impurities with the wisdom syllable, the hero syllable, the five impurities that flow out of the body are transformed into the nectar of the five wisdoms.
