Accomplishments arise from the diligence of one's own samadhi, and although one meditates on being free from conceptualization in the ultimate truth, in the valid conventional truth, the deity is the object to be focused on by samadhi, and because it is the place upon which power and accomplishments depend, it is called "whatever is touched by the wisdom being." This is said to be the mandala of wisdom that possesses the nature inseparable from the five wisdoms and the three vajras of body, speech, and mind. Others say that the mandala of the nature of the wisdom being is not fixed to be just this size. In the Sutra Pitaka, it is also said, "Upon a single atom, there are Buddhas equal to the number of atoms." In the Guhyagarbha Tantra, it is also said, "In all the inconceivable places, there are various appearances of body, speech, and mind." In this very tantra, it is also said, "All the realms of space are filled like a sesame pod." Therefore, the mandala of the deity should be understood according to one's own experience of samadhi and the magnitude of the mind. The great difference between mind and samadhi is said to be about a hundred million yojanas in extent. In the Guhyagarbha Tantra, it is said that in the Akanishta heaven, which has no end or center, the wheel of wisdom without a basis is clear, and the palace of the burning jewel of wisdom is completely uninterrupted in the ten directions. Or, it is also appropriate to understand that in the palace that is equal to the extent of space, the Tathagatas of infinite families reside, filled with the fine dust of all worlds or like sesame pods. With a medium experience of mind and difference in samadhi, it is also appropriate to meditate on the wisdom being of the extent of the mandala of whatever tantra one meditates on, or the emanations and further emanations of that, or the differences between lineages and lineages, and so on. With a small experience of mind and difference in samadhi, meditating on just the father and mother deities, or the mandala of the wisdom being that is practiced is also just that much. Or, there is no fault in just visualizing the deity residing in one's own heart. The mandala of the wisdom being also depends on the magnitude of the yogi's own mind.

Even meditating on poison and leftovers is called "touch." When reciting mantras, visualizing the light emanating from the mantra recitation and the clouds of offerings transforming into a place to be touched is called "what is touched," which is said to be wisdom vajra. It is said that this is explained in the mandala of wisdom beings possessing the indivisible nature of the five wisdoms and body, speech, and mind vajra. Now, the forty-second question: What is the method of mantra? The answer is: Letters are said to be the words of seeds. The three vajra letters are invoked. That itself is said to be body, speech, and mind. This means that the mantra letters of each deity, from the central main deity to the gatekeepers, are said to be the seed words for generating the deity's body, so it should be understood as the cause. This is also explained in terms of this tantra, reciting Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), and Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) generates the great Vajradhara. Similarly, reciting Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Sva (藏文:སྭ,梵文天城体:स्व,梵文罗马拟音:sva,汉语字面意思:梭), A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿), Ha (藏文:ཧ,梵文天城体:ह,梵文罗马拟音:ha,汉语字面意思:哈), and Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) generates Vairochana, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi, and Akshobhya. Or from Bhrum (藏文:བྷྲཱུཾ,梵文天城体:भ्रूं,梵文罗马拟音:bhrūṃ,汉语字面意思:勃隆), Am (藏文:ཨཱཾ,梵文天城体:आं,梵文罗马拟音:āṃ,汉语字面意思:昂), Drim (藏文:དྲཱིཾ,梵文天城体:द्रीं,梵文罗马拟音:drīṃ,汉语字面意思:德里), Kham (藏文:ཁཾ,梵文天城体:खं,梵文罗马拟音:khaṃ,汉语字面意思:康), and Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Moharati, Dvesharati, Ragarati, Vajrarati, and Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) generate the consorts. Or from Lam (藏文:ལཾ,梵文天城体:लं,梵文罗马拟音:laṃ,汉语字面意思:朗), Mam (藏文:མཾ,梵文天城体:मं,梵文罗马拟音:maṃ,汉语字面意思:芒), Pam (藏文:པཾ,梵文天城体:पं,梵文罗马拟音:paṃ,汉语字面意思:邦), Tam (藏文:ཏཾ,梵文天城体:तं,梵文罗马拟音:taṃ,汉语字面意思:当), and Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). The rest were explained earlier when making hand gestures, and they should be applied and explained here as well. The three vajra letters are invoked, which means that the letters of body, speech, and mind vajra, Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), and Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), are called the invoking mantra. What is invoked? By meditating and reciting them, the body, speech, and mind of the deity, or the three mandalas of body, speech, and mind, are invoked to be accomplished in my lineage. This is also said to be the invoking mantra. And the so-called invocation is also the mantra that invokes the Dharmakaya to arise as the Rupakaya, and invokes the Rupakaya to benefit beings. Above, it was asked what the method of mantra is, and the characteristics of all the mantras mentioned here, although it is said to be asking, the method is the meaning of cause, so one should strive to do it.
