The seed of completely pure consciousness becomes like the moon, this is the first step, called emptiness bodhicitta. Emptiness refers to the nature of wisdom, representing the ultimate truth. The moon represents the nature of compassion, representing the conventional truth, which is combined with recitation. The second step, called seed arising, refers to meditating on mantra syllables such as Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ།, हुं, hūṃ, Hūṃ) on the moon. This is combined with close practice and preliminary sadhana. From the gathering of light from these syllables, the moon and vajra are inseparable, from which arises the pride of vajra and deity, becoming the great Vajradhara. The third step is the completion of form, which is combined with practice. Then, in the heart, visualize the wisdom being, as well as the five aggregates, the four elements, the inner and outer sources, the four wrathful deities, and the vajras of body, speech, and mind, combined with the consort, blessing the vajra lotus, sending forth, offering, generating the mandala from the bodhicitta, reciting its mantra, releasing it outward, spreading it in ten directions, benefiting sentient beings, and then returning, placing them in their respective places, and being endowed with the four seals. The fourth step is establishing the syllable, which is combined with the great practice. Considering the supreme king of the mandala, combined with generating the retinue, that is, the sound of bliss from the father and mother deities playing inseparably with skillful means and wisdom, and the rays of light radiating from the heart of the wisdom being, hooking the mandalas of the ten directions with the movement of light, dissolving into oneself, the remainder dissolving into bodhicitta, descending into the space of the mother, from the mother's secret place, generating the outer mandala as it is. On their respective seats, visualize the sun, moon, and lotus seat, this is called: The first step, the activity of emptiness, bodhicitta. Then, on their respective seats, the respective seed syllables of the deities emerge like bursting bubbles. Thinking with samadhi, reciting with speech, and clearly visualizing, this is called: The second step, seed arising. From these seeds, their respective emblems arise. From these emblems, rays of light radiate, benefiting sentient beings in the ten directions.

Having summoned all the Buddhas and dissolved them into indivisibility, each of their bodies becomes the great mudra, this third is the completion of form. Thus it is said. Then, bless with the three syllables, Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), Vajra (བཛྲ,梵文天城体:वज्र,梵文罗马拟音:vajra,汉语字面意思:金刚), Dhṛka (དྷྲྀཀ,梵文天城体:धृक,梵文罗马拟音:dhṛka,汉语字面意思:持), etc., reciting the mantras of each deity, releasing them outward, elaborating on the meaning of going to the ten directions, and then returning and placing them in their respective abodes, this fourth is the placement of syllables. Thus it is said. To this, some say, these four Vajra rituals should be applied to the entire mandala as before, and should not be applied to the retinue. Answer: Although it is true, applying it as before, although the mandala that summarizes the meaning of beginning and end has been taken as the general outline, it has not been universally covered in the king of the mandala, etc. In order to eliminate the doubt of not being able to distinguish the differences, there is no contradiction in applying both. Some say that these four Vajra rituals should be done at the time of the supreme king of the mandala, and should not be applied generally. Answer: Here it is said that "the four Vajras are common", therefore, when practicing common accomplishments, one can accomplish by meditating only on these four Vajra rituals, and when practicing supreme accomplishments, one must first meditate on these four Vajra rituals, and then supplement with the six-limbed yoga, etc., and must be done specifically. Therefore, both the practice of common and supreme accomplishments require these four Vajra rituals, and it is shown that it has become common to all. If this is indeed the case, applying it only at the time of the supreme king of the mandala will not universally cover the great mandala, and if so, it will not be possible to practice common accomplishments, let alone be able to help practice supreme accomplishments, therefore it is reasonable to apply it to the great mandala that summarizes the meaning of beginning and end. It is not appropriate to apply it only to the supreme king of the mandala. There is no contradiction in applying both. Some say that the general application is said to be for approaching, the first is emptiness bodhicitta, the second is the arising of seeds, and the third is the syllable of complete form. The fourth is the placement of syllables, which is all that remains.

Everything, because the samaya union of reliance has been shown, all unions are gathered together. They say that otherwise there will be no great accomplishment of close attainment and so on. The reply is that from the two aspects of the wisdom of close attainment and the nature of compassion, bodhicitta, it is merely the clear arising of the body and great mudra of the father and mother deities. Such arising is because that place of arising is blessed as close attainment, so it obscures others and makes them disappear. These four vajras are the nature of close attainment, the accomplishment. Saying this means that these four vajras shown in this way are both the nature of close attainment and the accomplishment itself when accomplishing common accomplishments. Although it is said this way, in this case, the meaning of the four limbs of close attainment and accomplishment has already been fully shown above. Now, in order to show the four limbs of supreme accomplishment, it is said: With the supreme wisdom nectar, it should be combined into six limbs. Saying this and so on refers to practicing non-conceptual samadhi, becoming accustomed to it, the fruit that appears is the vajra vehicle, the nature of transcendence of suffering, the nature of bodhicitta vajra, inseparable from the dharmakaya, which is called the supreme wisdom nectar. Its close attainment should actually be combined into six limbs. Therefore, it is said: By doing close attainment in the manner of six limbs, accomplishment will become supreme. If accomplishment is done in another way, supreme accomplishment will not arise. Saying this means that by doing it in a manner that possesses the six limbs of close attainment, accomplishment will become supreme. If the six limbs are abandoned and accomplishment is done in another way, then supreme accomplishment, or accomplishing the supreme, will not be accomplished. Therefore, it is necessary to possess the six limbs, that is its meaning. So, what is it that is shown in this way? Separate gathering and meditation, as well as life exertion and such holding, mindfulness and samadhi, are proclaimed as the six limbs of asceticism. Saying this, separate abandonment refers to the nature of the sense faculties engaging with objects, becoming one in a single continuum, not binding and becoming the cause of liberation. Therefore, the ten sense faculties
