Then, whatever is said in all the precepts, one is sure to be liberated from worldly conduct. The one who protects all vajras is said to be the practice of mantra. Thus it is said. When one abides in the state of such realization, there is no need to guard and restrain the three doors by those precepts of the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, Bodhisattvas, and beyond, the vows of the Sutra Pitaka, and the various Tantras. Even if one engages in actions that seem to contradict these, it will not harm oneself but will benefit other beings, therefore, one is sure to be liberated from worldly conduct. It means that even if one engages in worldly conduct, one will be liberated from the bonds of the world, which is the meaning of attaining Bodhi. The one who protects all vajras, the vajra is the nature of wisdom, the mind of the Tathagata. Just as it protects all beings from samsara and falling or the two extremes, the yogi, with an inseparable mind and compassion, protects all beings, thinking of their benefit and happiness, is the practice of mantra. It means that this teaching is also taught to the yogis who practice mantra as the practice of mantra. Now is the thirty-second question: How should one practice recitation? The answer: Each one's own nature is good, examine the heart with the mind. The recitation of emitting and gathering, is specifically spoken of as awakening. Thus and so on are said. Among them, each one's own nature is good, means that each one's own mind, with the nature of awareness and wisdom, is fully endowed with the mandala of the deity, or according to the deity in whom one has faith, contemplate the nature of their respective mandalas, if one wants to practice, then the method of practice is as follows. So, how to practice? Examine the heart with the mind. It means, with the mind's consciousness, which can make manifest and can examine the characteristics of each object, the consciousness that takes hold of what has not been predicted, is impermanent, and abides in the nature of constancy, from which it can hold all the seeds of good and evil, and can be changed by the colors of karma, is nominally called the heart.

E. The examination of this is that, whichever deity or consort's mandala one wishes to practice, one should generate and meditate clearly in the form of Mahamudra with characteristics from the order of emission and absorption of letters and heart-essence, or from the complete union. Recitation, emitting and withdrawing, means that after meditating in this way, one should clearly recite the mantra and heart-essence of that deity in one's mind, or utter the sound of the mantra with one's mouth. If one wants the mantra to emit light, emanating from oneself and radiating and expanding outwards, and then withdrawing back into oneself, then the method is: specifically, recite the mantra. This means that whichever deity one practices, one should recite their respective heart-essence in that way, and perform emission and absorption. Therefore, the vajra crossed at one's own heart, should be gathered with the seed of wisdom, with the seed of bodhi-non-self, the ascetic holds non-self. It is said that the vajra-wisdom crossed vajra is a synonym for "various", it is the nature of the union of the five wisdoms, it is the wisdom hero. Having made it inseparable from one's own heart, one should meditate in the space between the speech vajra and the mind vajra. To gather with the seed of wisdom means that in its heart, whether one visualizes the heart-essence of the deity one is practicing, or the moon, it is fine, in its center one should visualize the heart-essence of one's own lineage, this is called the seed of wisdom. Why? Because it is the cause of the arising of wisdom, it is the letter of the mantra. Such a seed of wisdom should be recited in words, and the mantra and light should radiate outwards and be gathered inwards. The measure of the wisdom hero is said to be the size of the thumb of the deity one is practicing. In the Samputa Tantra it says: Subdue directly in front of the mouth. This means that the life-force of the headdress or the crest of hair, its tip and main part are level with the mouth. With the seed of bodhi-non-self, it means that the letter of the mantra is the cause of generating the continuum that knows the nature of bodhi-non-self. Such a seed mantra can visualize the three doors of body, speech, and mind as the three vajras of body, speech, and mind.
