Therefore, it is the ground. It is said that emptiness is the ultimate Bodhicitta. Wishing to attain this Bodhicitta means not abandoning the benefit of beings with impartial great compassion. The conventional Bodhicitta, which is the courageous mind, is also the same. Now, the eleventh question. What is such a wise person? The answer to this question is: one's own body, speech, and mind are inseparable from the Vajra nature, which is possessing wisdom, and is called a wise person. The three aspects of a yogi's body, speech, and mind abide in the nature inseparable from the body, speech, and mind Vajra of the Tathagata or one's own Yidam deity. And being united with this, that is, dwelling together with one's own consort, the wisdom mother, possessing the bliss of inseparable play, is called a wise person. Wisdom is the wisdom mother. Because one has become the son of this consort, one is called a wise person. If associated with deities, the five families are each associated with their own mothers. If associated with yogis, it refers to yogis who practice following them and abide in Samadhi, dwelling in union with the mothers of the families of the deities. The twelfth question. What is Vajradhara? The answer is: the pure mind of the five families is called Vajra. Holding is called grasping. Consciousness is Vajradhara. It is said that the minds of sentient beings included in the five paths realize that their own nature is empty, thereby completely purifying the defilements and habitual tendencies of grasping and being grasped, which is called Vajra. It is said to be like the wisdom Vajra. Therefore, the nature of objects is called the grasped, and the wisdom that realizes this is called the grasper. Consciousness is Vajradhara. It is said that consciousness is completely pure, like the wisdom Vajra, therefore it is said to grasp the meaning of the nature of reality. For those who are inseparable from the Dharmadhatu and wisdom, it is called consciousness being Vajradhara. Some say that the grasped is the grasper. It is said that the external grasped object does not exist independently, but the grasping mind itself believes that the object exists.

It is the habitual imprints of familiarity that appear as the environment. In reality, the mind that grasps appears as the form of the environment. Now, the absence of inherent existence is the realm of dharma, and the non-establishment of mind as a substance is called the wisdom of awareness. Holding such meaning and repeatedly familiarizing oneself with it is called "transcendence." Some say that because there is no inherent existence in ultimate reality, it eliminates the extreme of clinging to existence. In true conventional reality, it appears clearly in the form of body, speech, and mind without characteristics, thus eliminating the extreme of denigrating it as non-existence. In this way, clarity itself is empty of its own nature, and it does not waver from the state of being without characteristics. Because characteristics and the absence of characteristics are non-dual, it does not even abide in mere Madhyamaka, so it is called "transcendence." Thirteenth question: What is Jina-jika like? In response to this question: Because it transcends the middle of existence and non-existence, arising and transformation from arising occur. All sentient beings are the form of all, and the Victorious One, Jina-jika, arises. Thus, the absence of inherent existence in ultimate reality is like the realm of space. Ordinary individuals perceive things and characteristics as existing, and some non-Buddhists perceive the self as permanent and unchanging. Hearers perceive subtle particles as substantially existing, and Mind-Only practitioners perceive the moment of mind as ultimately existing. These extremes are eliminated. It is not existence, but in true conventional reality, the mandala of body, speech, mind, and hand gestures appears in the form of characteristics. Therefore, ordinary individuals perceive it as annihilation, and non-Buddhists perceive it as annihilation, thus denying karma and its results, as well as the absence of this world and the next. These extremes are eliminated. It is not non-existence, but in this way, merely appearing, that itself is empty of its own nature, and it does not waver from the state of being without characteristics. Because characteristics and the absence of characteristics are non-dual, it does not even abide in the middle of existence and non-existence, so it is called "transcending the middle of existence and non-existence." Although it abides in such a nature in ultimate reality, in true conventional reality, it does not abide in any nature, arising and transformation from arising occur. It is called "arising" because the four elements that are the cause arise. What transforms from that arising is that the eleven sense bases that are the result arise and transform, so it is called "arising." All sentient beings become the form of all without exception, and that is naturally pure, in ultimate reality from the nature of dharma.
