It should be protected. Here, those key points are briefly indicated, and that is its meaning. For that very meaning, "Forms, sounds, and other desires, Give rise to the nature of pleasure and pain." This refers to the object of the eye—form, the object of the ear—sound, and the objects of the nose—smell, the tongue—taste, and the body—touch, included by the word "etc." These five objects of desire transform into three distinctions: when encountering a pleasant object, a painful feeling arises; when encountering an object that is neither pleasant nor unpleasant, a neutral feeling arises. Thus, the five objects transform into three distinctions, thereby producing the nature of three feelings. Therefore, "Constantly arising from the heart, Desire, hatred, and darkness arise." That is to say, from the feeling of pleasure, the affliction of desire arises; from the feeling of pain, the affliction of hatred arises; from the feeling of equanimity, the affliction of ignorance arises. "Constantly" means that at any time, when the senses encounter objects, consciousness arises and experiences the three feelings, thereby giving rise to and producing the three afflictions. That is its meaning. Although they have arisen in this way, in order to subdue, liberate, and accomplish them, "Desire, desire, reality, vajra, Like a vajra, jewels arise, Like jewels, know the vows, The woman of desire is like the vows." Here, it speaks of "desire, reality," etc. When encountering a pleasant object and experiencing a pleasant feeling, if a reversed attachment arises, then in the very next moment after it arises, recognize that it is the true great desire, the nature of wisdom and compassion, the actual Buddha of the lotus family who is attached to sentient beings. In this way, the affliction is subdued and is not bound in samsara and the lower realms, thereby gaining liberation. If one becomes accustomed to it, one can manifest and accomplish Amitabha of the lotus family. "Vajra" refers to encountering an unpleasant object and experiencing a painful feeling, using reversed hatred as an antidote, which is difficult to destroy and abandon, and is like a vajra that destroys and annihilates others...

If someone with inherent existence arises, then in the very next moment after that arising, if one recognizes that the very self in that moment is the actual great anger, the Vajra family's actual Buddha who destroys and annihilates all sinful thoughts with grasping and clinging, then just as before, anger is controlled, liberated, and accomplished. The same meaning should be applied to the following (situations) as well. Here, ignorance is not mentioned, but it can be explained here using the meaning that has already been explained before: encountering a non-dual object, being in a state of neutral feeling, thereby giving rise to inverted ignorance, being confused without the wisdom to distinguish between good and bad, superior and inferior. Then, immediately, if one recognizes that that very self is the actual great ignorance, the nature of the Dharmadhatu, being confused in a state of non-discrimination of all discriminating characteristics, abiding in the ultimate truth free from elaboration, then just as before, one will be accomplished as the Tathagata family's Vairochana Buddha. Therefore, this is controlling, liberating, and accomplishing the three afflictions, which is spoken of in terms of the three families. Although it was not explained above, in order to incidentally explain the meaning of the five families by controlling the five afflictions, it is called Ratnasambhava. The perverted pride belonging to desire, liking oneself to be high above, wanting to suppress others, in this state a steadfast mind arises, and if one recognizes that that very self is the great quality arising from steadfastness in a state of non-discrimination, the Ratnasambhava Buddha who suppresses others, then one will likewise be accomplished. Samaya, refers to arising from inverted afflictions, a mind of jealousy towards one's own actions, not allowing one's own virtue to be mixed with the evil of others, and considering oneself to be the nature of offering to the noble ones and accomplishing all the affairs of beings, the Karma family's Buddha, then one will likewise be accomplished. Because one possesses unwavering diligence and effortless activity, whatever intention one wishes to accomplish, it will be fulfilled as desired, possessing wisdom that does not transgress, therefore in the Karma family, jealousy is called samaya. "The desirable woman is like samaya," which refers to the five desirable qualities of objects such as form.
