It manifests itself and makes others understand, or makes others see. Such a goddess, at all times and in all ways, in all places, plays and is inseparable, possessing such a nature. In order to generate attachment to such a meaning, and in order to clearly introduce it into the realm of others' actions, it is displayed and indicated, therefore it is called Arolika. It means abiding in such a state, arising as the nature of great compassion, accomplishing the benefit of beings as it is. It is not like the three kinds of conceptual thoughts of worldly people, but with the wisdom of individual omniscience, it also knows that the general nature of all phenomena is emptiness and selflessness, therefore wisdom is attached to the realm of Dharma. Because it knows that its own nature is unmixed, therefore compassion is attached to the benefit of beings, and it is only so. Question sixteen. How is Prajñādhṛk (Sanskrit Devanagari: प्रज्ञाधृक, Sanskrit Romanization: prajñādhṛk, literal meaning: Wisdom Holder)? As an answer: Clearly distinguishing all consciousnesses, such is said to be true wisdom. Action is the root of mind, therefore it is said to be the holder of wisdom. It is said, that is, with the consciousness that has the nature of being able to extremely well distinguish all things, it is able to clearly determine all realms, that which can determine the object of focus, and truly determine their respective natures, this is called wisdom, it is wisdom, that which becomes the cause of wisdom is wisdom. Some say that consciousness itself becomes the wisdom of the nature of being able to manifest extremely clearly, by that completely pure wisdom, knowing the meaning of reality, it is called wisdom. It means that the cause wisdom is called by the name of the result wisdom. Action is the root of mind. It means that because action is the root of the action arising from the mind, it should not be clung to as saying that it is the holder of wisdom. Like the superior wisdom or wisdom, benefiting others with compassion and so on, from the appearance, action is combined with the root of the mind, that is the wisdom of diligence, therefore although benefiting others in that way, there will be no fault of the grasper and the grasped, and it will not waver in distraction and characteristics. Therefore it is said to be the holder of wisdom. It means that it does not waver from the state of non-discrimination, but holds the meaning of the nature of Dharma, benefiting beings.

It is said so because it does not abandon the benefit and possesses the wisdom to hold the benefit of sentient beings. Seventeenth question: What is the Tathagata lineage like? In response, it is said: Lineage is shown to be non-dual, called the non-dual beginning. What is unborn and undying? That is mainly explained in detail. Etc. It is said that the term "lineage" is only used for something that is definitely one. If it becomes multiple, such as two or three, it will not be given the name of lineage. For example, in the world, the Brahmin lineage is also determined to be the only one, so it is called the Brahmin lineage, but it is only one. Brahmins do not have multiple lineages such as the royal lineage, and it is not possible to establish the Brahmin lineage by giving multiple names such as Brahmin and royal lineage. Similarly, here too, only the one definite thing called Vajra lineage is called Vajra lineage. It does not have multiple lineages such as jewel and lotus lineages, so it will not be given other names. If it does have multiple lineages, then it cannot be established as the Vajra lineage. Why? Because lineage is used for definite things, and definiteness is only one, so it can be given a name. If it becomes multiple, it is not definitely one, so it cannot be established as a lineage. Therefore, it is said, "Lineage is shown to be non-dual." It means that giving the name of lineage is like determining the only thing to be the Vajra lineage. It cannot be said which is the lineage of Vajra and jewel, so it is said, "Showing non-duality." Like this, that which shows non-duality is the four or nature that is given the name of lineage in terminology, so it is called the beginning, meaning the first thread that is given as lineage. So, is lineage transformed from realizing that each of the five afflictions is pure in its place? What does it refer to here? It says, "What is unborn and undying," meaning that the five kinds of afflictions are distinguished by their respective characteristics, and realizing that they are not different, those that gather together and become without difference, do not arise because there is no antidote, and do not perish because they rely on the antidote, and what manifests as abiding equally in a pure place by their own nature, that is mainly explained in detail.
