This commentary is the latter part of the root tantra of the Uttaratantra, hence it is called the Latter Secret Tantra. Although it seems to be spoken by the Tathagatas of the retinue, it is clear that the power and blessings of the Bodhicitta Vajra, including the root tantra and the latter, are being explained. This latter tantra is also considered the supreme of all tantras. Why? Because it explains the meaning of all secret tantras and all intentions. Now, the sixth question: "How many kinds of Suchness are taught?" The answer is: "Suchness is taught as five kinds." Suchness refers to that which is unchanging and exists separately. Although there are many ways to differentiate and show different forms according to the views of each tantra, here it refers to the five afflictions. When Suchness has not been realized as pure and exists in the continuum of sentient beings, it remains in a state that does not change from its nature of generating all phenomena of samsara due to being accompanied by defilements. When Suchness is realized as pure and exists in the continuum of the Tathagatas, it remains in a state that cannot be realized in any form. Through Suchness, faults such as grasping are destroyed, shortcomings such as the two extremes are overcome, and it remains in a state of great jealousy that desires to accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings alone, and generates all phenomena of nirvana such as the body and wisdom, hence it is called Suchness. The term "lineage" refers to its own nature. The five lineages have also been explained in detail earlier regarding their characteristics. The seventh question: "How many kinds of Tathagata secrets are there?" The answer is: "Secrets are of three kinds." That is, the five afflictions themselves, in a pure state, are the three vajras of body, speech, and mind, hence they are known as the three lineages. The eighth question: "How is the Great Secret?" The answer is: "The Great Secret is the deity of the lineage." That is, it is the nature of body, speech, and mind vajra that pervades all dharmas.

The basis of the three aspects. It is the embodiment of all Kayas and wisdoms, which is the Great Vajradhara. Why is it said so? Because it is the very basis of the secrets of body, speech, and mind, even all the Tathagatas of the retinue, such as Vairochana, cannot comprehend the meaning of its nature. Because those secrets are also the greatest secrets, it is called the Great Secret. It is a deity formed from the perfection of wisdom, and from the goddess of intelligence, all lineages are born and arise. Ninth question: How many kinds of noble ones are there? The answer is: The noble ones are called a hundred lineages. This refers to worldly lineages and lineages beyond this life, which are considered noble through measurement, hence they are called special lineages. These are the ones that have spread from the five real lineages to a hundred lineages. Tenth question: What is Bodhicitta like? The answer is: Without birth or death, peaceful nature, Substantial, insubstantial, inexhaustible lord, Emptiness and compassion are not different, It is called Bodhisattva. This means that it is without birth from the beginning, so there is no end in the end. By nature, it is peaceful from all elaborations. Because there is no birth, the substance of permanence is not established. Because there is no cessation, the non-existence of annihilation is not established. The essence of Dharmata emptiness is the inexhaustible nature of permanence and annihilation, and the extremes of birth and death. Whether a Buddha appears in the world or not, it abides in the nature of self-purification, so it is the self or lord of all Dharmas. Such a nature is not emptiness, Bodhi is cut off, nor is it separated from the moisture of great compassion. Therefore, it is said: Emptiness and compassion are not different. This means that the Dharmata of emptiness has the power of great compassion that is naturally imperceptible, so wherever the Dharmata of emptiness pervades, it is pervaded by imperceptible compassion. And that compassion itself abides in the nature of emptiness. Therefore, emptiness and compassion are not separate, but abide without difference, and this is called Bodhisattva. It is said that what is said to be Bodhicitta is also this, and what is said to be a hero is also this. Thus, in the Ornament of Clear Realization, it is said: Bodhi is the nature of space, abandoning all thoughts.
