In the meantime, regarding the compassionate nature of the five Tathagatas, they remained silent, and (the assembly) repeatedly urged them. The reason for their silence was for the reasons mentioned earlier. As stated in other tantras, when they wished to teach a particular Dharma, they would first enter into meditative absorption and then begin to teach. At that time, the retinue would request and urge them, and then they would teach. Therefore, here it is also shown that it is necessary to urge them when they remain silent. The term "repeatedly" is to request that the state of abiding in the speech of meaning be transformed into the sound of uttering words, and to request that the fifty-six points of inquiry be explained in sequence, and thus to urge them many times. Sixth, the Tathagatas dispel doubts by answering the questions. Immediately after such urging, from then on, all the Tathagatas, such as Vairochana, spoke these instructions to the Bodhisattvas, such as Maitreya. What were they? The Vajras of body, speech, and mind, placed upon the Vajras of body, speech, and mind, abide in the sovereign Bodhicitta, listen well to the vast (Dharma). Thus it was said, "You Bodhisattvas who are the questioners, place the three aspects of the true conventional and ultimate Vajras of body, speech, and mind upon the three aspects of the true conventional and ultimate Vajras of body, speech, and mind possessed by the Tathagatas, equally and without separation, and listen attentively. I shall reveal these vast words and meanings that you have requested." Here, it is sufficient to abide in the equality of mind, but why is it necessary to abide in the equality of body and speech? This is to show that all Dharmas are gathered into the three aspects of the Vajra of body, speech, and mind, and to realize their meaning by abiding in the equality of the three doors. However, if the three doors of a Bodhisattva need to abide in the equality of the three doors of a Tathagata, what is the necessity? If Samsara and Nirvana, or sentient beings and Buddhas, are not separate and without difference, then what need is there to even mention that Bodhisattvas and Tathagatas are equal and without separation? This is to show that they are not separate and without difference. If that is the case, then the Bodhisattva towards the Tathagata

Why is it necessary to ask and listen? Although it is so in the ultimate truth, in the relative truth, there is a great difference between wisdom and jñana, so it shows that there is a difference in the degree of realization. Even if there is no difference between wisdom and jñana in the ultimate truth, in the future, in order to make other sentient beings know, and in order to use the continuums of those who have not matured, and in order to tame the continuums of the different ways in which bodhisattvas enter the gate of liberation, the reason is as previously stated. Therefore, there is no contradiction in teaching in this way. In short, by abiding in the state where the realization of equality has manifested, teaching the meaning of how equality is, is to guide the disciples who have not realized it to abide in equality. The meaning of teaching equality is this Vajrayana. Here, the term Bodhicitta Lord is used, for example, just as the lords of beings such as gods and humans are called lords. Similarly, mentioning Maitreya and other bodhisattvas, these bodhisattvas are also the lords among the bodhisattvas who cannot be expressed in words, so they are called this. The so-called "vast" is because this tantra shows the meaning that all dharmas are gathered in the three vajras of body, speech, and mind? Secondly, because it shows an extremely profound meaning, it is called vast in words. Thirdly, it is vast because it has seven meanings, that is: because it is asked for the benefit of all sentient beings, the intention is vast; because the inconceivable meaning is asked with non-discriminating mind, the accumulation is vast; because the meaning that all dharmas are gathered in the three vajras of body, speech, and mind is asked, the realization is vast; in order to obtain non-abiding nirvana
