Having made it invisible in between, the samadhi of holding completely with the self-nature of one's own continuum being unattainable is ultimate. In order to explain the subsequent dissolution, it is said: "Going and not going, first the clear light, then likewise the self-nature is made, is the order of subsequent dissolution." It means that the light arising from the first sound mentioned earlier, for the going and not going of samsara and nirvana, makes it invisible to the three realms, and thereafter the self-nature also becomes invisible, thereby showing the samadhi of subsequent dissolution. That is ultimate. In order to explain the metaphor of the samadhi of complete holding, it is said: "The breath of air in the mirror, how it all dissolves and changes, likewise the true end of yoga, enters again and again and acts." It means that just as the breath of the mouth entering the bottom of the mirror dissolves, and if one does not know where it disappears, likewise, the yogi should enter the Dharma-nature again and again. The collection of self-nature does not know where it disappears, which is the ultimate meaning. Here, even though it is not spoken with the word "all," it also means gathering from all. The metaphor of subsequent dissolution should also be illustrated. For example, just as the moon that becomes an image in a spotless autumn lake or river water is inexpressible as neither this nor that, likewise, one should know that the clear light abiding in the cause of self and others is inexpressible, which is ultimate. Again, in order to explain the purity of conduct, it is said: "Walking, staying, sleeping, and eating, closing and opening the eyes, and laughing, with this combination of meditation, that awareness constantly abides." It means that that awareness, that is, the yogi abiding in the state of emptiness of all, should abide in the clear light samadhi for activities such as walking, as the words indicate. In order to explain how one benefits sentient beings after entering the clear light, it is said: "That nature of colored light, combined with consciousness and wind, through the order of self-blessing, also sometimes becomes the meaning of sentient beings." It means entering the clear light

If a yogi benefits sentient beings through the power of previous aspirations, then, at that time, one should act through the sequence of blessing oneself. However, the illusion-like samadhi is the third. The fourth is Suchness. If asked, how should this be manifested? Answer: There are two sequences of blessing oneself. One is to explain the third sequence. The second is to explain the sequence of union. This will be explained below, and there is no contradiction in manifesting it here. Finally, if asked, what is "blessing oneself"? Answer: I and I are myself, that is, the conventional truth and the ultimate truth. Recognizing that these are not different is blessing oneself, which is the sequence of union. So, what is the combination of wind and consciousness in this? Answer: The combination of the cessation of wind and the absence of consciousness is ultimate. In order to explain arising, just as fish quickly leap from clear water, similarly, it is said that all illusory networks arise from emptiness and clarity. It is said that, just as fish suddenly leap from the water of an autumn river, similarly, from the luminosity that is free from the collection of one hundred and sixty natures of all afflictions and purifications, the network of illusion, that is, the assembly of the wheel-turning king with retinues, arises like a potter's wheel due to the power of previous aspirations, which is the ultimate meaning. In order to explain the benefit of sentient beings by the distinction of lineages, there is no examination of the great seal (Mahāmudrā) that depends on the Buddhas of the five lineages. The five lights are the elements, like the rainbows in the sky. It is said that, in order to accomplish the benefit of sentient beings, the body that arises from the clear light is the great seal (Mahāmudrā), that is, giving the joy of the seal (mudrā rāṇi) to the great aggregate of sentient beings, that is, the great seal. If asked, what is the difference between the generation stage and blessing oneself? "No examination" is because it is the homogeneous cause of clear light. The other two are conceptual.
