Thus, all are the cause of the three appearances. Having fully entered the objects, one will enter into the clear light. Thus it is said. Similarly, for hatred and children, the yogi should not distinguish, because those things that become the cause of hatred and joy should, as before, be absorbed into their own nature. Similarly, the difference between the results of virtuous and non-virtuous actions, and the upper realms and the uninterrupted hells, should not be known, because from the beginning, the unborn clear light is not stained like the sky. Actions and the results of actions are experienced in the relative truth, but not in the ultimate truth. As it is said: Not knowing such a nature, covered by the darkness of ignorance, performing virtuous and non-virtuous actions, one will wander in the five realms. Thus it is said. Similarly, the merit and sins that become the cause of the upper realms and hells should also be understood as non-different, as before, by absorbing them into their own nature, as the sound is. In order to explain the gathering. Having known this, the wise one performs all actions without doubt. If one can accomplish all secret practices, then all perfections will be accomplished. Thus it is said, through the previously explained order, having known that the mutually contradictory dharmas are non-different, one should practice without doubt. Therefore, doing all things means following all actions. What to do? Secret practice is the practice of secret characteristics, that is, how others do not know what this is, such a practice that is not known to the world, or one should guard the practice of not speaking. Why is this so? Because people will not be distracted by this. If one acts in this way, then all the perfections of the yogi, that is, all the qualities of the Buddhas, will be accomplished together. In order to completely dedicate the merit at the end of the sequence. The excellent five stages, having explained the merit that is obtained, may this union meditation allow the world to enjoy. Thus it is said, after clarifying the five stages, my merit, that is, obtaining virtue, may this cause of merit enable the world

May this, all samsara attain the nature of dual union meditation as described, and attain the state of non-abiding nirvana. For the benefit of countless sentient beings, from Buddha-field to Buddha-field, may I be endowed with the perfection of diligence. The commentary on the Fifth Stage, called "Clarifying the Meaning of the Stages," is the fifth stage of the dual union of the body. From the Sutra of the Descent to Lanka, the Teacher himself prophesied, the Mahayana that is free from the extremes of existence and non-existence, by whom was it spoken? The various treatises such as the Root of the Middle Way, with extremely clear words, by whom were the evil views dispelled? Collected from the Great Yoga, possessing vast instructions, with the nature of great compassion, by whom were the five stages and so on spoken? By whom were the countless yaksha women accomplished? Likewise, to whom did the nagas become subject? In order to attain the state of worldly gods, by whom was the amrita well accomplished? Skilled in the means of liberating from existence and non-existence, the one who has attained the joy of supreme accomplishment, in the auspicious mountain, the accomplishment is especially abiding, whose disciple did the bodhi of the nagas become? Having attained the eighth bhumi and being virtuous, abandoning words and gathering the meaning, by whose intention, does the disciple Aryadeva make it clear? In the three realms, by whose fame is it clear, vast, and profound, the power of compassion arises, who holds the jewel of the Victorious One's qualities? For the sake of the joy of the auspicious goddess of enlightenment and the seizing of the peace of beings, from the auspicious Nagarjuna Ocean, these five-stage natures arise. Without sparing any effort, with the vajra words, after clarifying the meaning of the five stages, whatever merit I have obtained, may it make beings into Vajradharas. Exhausting all the profound meanings of the tantras, the one who has gone to the other shore of the ocean, skilled in the two stages of the auspicious Kalachakra, and the six meanings, and skilled in the science of sound. The great Kashmiri scholar, the auspicious Lakshmi, I have made this commentary on the five stages, may it accomplish victory. The commentary on the Fifth Stage, "Clarifying the Meaning of the Stages," composed by the great Kashmiri scholar, the venerable Lakshmi, is complete.
