Here, one will attain Buddhahood without doubt. It is said that after obtaining the sequence of self-blessing, one will attain Buddhahood in this very life, which is the connection of the words. Why is it that one attains Buddhahood in this very life? Because it is said, "Seeing the Dharma is Nirvana." What is the sequence? The so-called "All Buddhas are self-nature" is the nature of the five Tathagatas according to the inclinations of sentient beings, and similarly, the main one is the sixth, which is the nature of the Great Vajradhara. In order to explain the difference between the cause and effect of this, it is said, "The Samadhi of self-blessing, and the place of luminosity, by the difference of cause and effect, the two truths are shown." It is said that here, only dependent origination is the illusory Samadhi, and it is reasonable to have the difference of cause and effect in it. Among them, the place of luminosity of the mind, the difference between cause and effect, self-blessing is the result, because it arises from it. The two truths are also this, namely the ultimate truth and the conventional truth of the person. As it is said, "Discrimination is said to be conventional, whatever discriminates as other, whatever reverses discrimination, that itself is said to be ultimate." Thus it is said. Therefore, seeing the conventional truth here, only the illusory Samadhi is discrimination. That is, in order to explain the difference between cause and effect by other distinctions, "By the sequence of self-blessing, luminosity will be obtained. Therefore, the Vajra Acharya, first shows self-blessing." It is said, or again, self-blessing is the cause, and self-nature luminosity is the result, in order to realize it by that sequence. This tantra itself should first show the sequence of self-blessing to the disciple by the Vajra Acharya. Therefore, in relation to the third sequence, the second sequence is the cause, and the third is the result. Similarly, the third sequence is the cause, and peace is the result. Therefore, self-blessing is both the cause and the result.

It is just so. Luminosity is both the cause and the result, this is the established tenet. This shows that there is no entity of cause and effect in anything, because all things are dependent. Therefore, whatever is dependent is controlled by others, so it is itself without self-nature. Now, in order to explain that beings do not fully understand the illusory phenomena, and its cause. It is said in the scriptures: All beings are without autonomy, they do not arise from autonomy. Its cause is luminosity, all luminosity is empty. This is because beings do not understand that all phenomena are like illusions, so they arise from dependent origination. If one understands the nature of illusion and so on, it will not arise, because it is blocked by sudden defilements. If sudden defilements can make things lose their autonomy, then are they different or non-different from things? If they are different, then the result of illusory concentration and the cause of luminosity will become different. This is not desirable, because its universality will be lost. If they are non-different, then since the essence is the same, both cause and effect will be contaminated by defilements. Here it is said that these defilements cannot be described by difference or non-difference, because luminosity and blessing themselves are completely pure, so they are not different. Even if these defilements are its nature, they cannot be said to be non-different because they appear in the form of karma and result. If so, how should the terms bondage and liberation be explained? We say that it is due to complete misunderstanding and caused by other factors. Then, where does this come from? Answer: Born from self-nature, like a forgotten child who is carried on the shoulder because of ignorance. Similarly, due to similarity, illusions arise, like seeing a rope as a snake. Therefore, just like that example, the nature of illusion will appear as something different from it, and its cause is only luminosity, so as mentioned before, everything is emptiness.

It is so. Now, in order to explain the nature of bondage and liberation, (the scripture says) By what mind are children bound? By being bound by bondage. By that very mind, the yogi will go to the realm of the Sugata. Thus it is said, children are those who do not understand the nature of illusion, their own retinue and the retinues of others. Samsara is the nature of the five types of beings. By what mind are they bound? That very mind is the realization of the nature of illusion, thereby attaining the state of Sugata in the bliss of yoga. Because the nature of self and appearance is samsara, fully understanding it as illusion, or understanding its cause, is liberation. If all these are like illusions, then how do birth and death appear separately? In order to explain that they do not appear separately, (the scripture says) Here there is no birth, nor is there any death. The nature of the mind abides. Samsara itself should be known. Thus it is said, if one analyzes the form of fire arising from the actions of drilling wood and a person's hand, it does not arise from anything. However, because the causes and conditions are complete, it appears as if it is born. That which arises from completeness is not arising, as it is said, That which arises from that dependent on conditions, that is not truly arising. If its nature is unborn, how can it arise? Thus it is said, here the combination is like this: all things, that is, all dharmas, being separated from birth and death, is what is to be proven, because they arise from dependent origination, this is the reason. Whatever arises from dependent origination is separated from birth and so on, like an illusory person. The dissimilar example is simply non-existence. Therefore, since there is no birth, there is also no death, like a barren woman's son having green and white, etc. If that is so, how do birth and death appear? It is said: They appear in conventional truth, but not in ultimate truth. As it is said, abiding, birth, as well as destruction, existence, non-existence, inferior, middling, and difference, the world
