Because the seven are invisible. In order to explain those natures, the moment of intermediate attachment, regret and confusion, inability to speak and sorrow, as well as laziness and hesitation, these seven moments of ignorance should be known by subtle yogis. There are no seeds or bindus, nor do they arise from the wind gate. If one attains manifestation, it is the sign of perfection. Thus it is said that these seven natures, the sign of ignorance, arise from the ripening consciousness, and should be known by subtle yogis. The so-called "should be known by subtle yogis" refers to those with wisdom as sharp as the tip of a kusha grass, who should realize it as self-awareness. When the nature of these natures is fully known, the previously mentioned seeds, bindus, winds, etc., are invisible. Therefore, this appearance, which is like a rainbow, should be fully known. In order to explain the number of these natures by distinguishing between night and day, there are one hundred subtle natures, and sixty complete are these, arising in day and night by the cause of riding on the wind. Thus it is said that these eighty natures of wisdom, means, and near attainment will become one hundred and sixty through the distinction between night and day. Subtlety is difficult to represent, because whenever one does not abide in the state of "what nature arises," it cannot be represented. Even yogis who abide in the generation stage find it difficult to represent, because they are attached to gross objects and crave the form of deities. If asked what cause these arise from? By the cause of riding on the wind. The so-called riding on the wind is consciousness, which is the cause of all natures, arising from that cause. Because if the wind cannot find the nature, then the appearance of the nature will not arise. In the moment of luminosity, the consciousness riding on the wind is invisible, so they are neither arising nor not arising, because it is difficult to grasp any side of existence or non-existence, so it has transcended its nature. Then, because it appears in different realms, day and nature

If so, although various appearances arise, but at night when the senses cease to function, how will they arise? It is said: Here, as long as wind and nature exist, in the states of dream and wakefulness, nature will arise. In the state of dream, the alaya consciousness is entered by habit, and from there these arise, there is no fault. Or, although things do not exist, due to illusion, they appear separately, like a dream. Similarly, it should be understood in the state of wakefulness as well. Skandhas, dhatus, ayatanas, indriyas, etc., the two consciousnesses gather completely here, becoming great emptiness, whoever falls asleep, will be driven by the power of the wind to see dreams. There is no other difference between dream and wakefulness, because one fully understands the desired result of dreams. And so on will happen. In order to explain how long nature manifests, it is said: kshana, tangchik, yudtsam, closing the eyes, and clapping the hands. This is a brief explanation. The detailed explanation is: kshana refers to the time of snapping fingers, tangchik refers to the time of circling mustard seeds, yudtsam refers to the time of breathing once, closing the eyes refers to the time of closing the eyes, clapping the hands refers to the time of striking two hands together. Kshana etc. are the definitions of time. The time it takes for the sound of snapping fingers to end is the time called kshana. The time it takes to circle mustard seeds on the palm is tangchik. The time it takes to exhale a breath from the nostrils is yudtsam. The time it takes to close the eyes. The time it takes for the eyes to close is closing the eyes. The time it takes to clap hands with hands is clapping hands. The manifestation of nature should be represented through these times. Otherwise, if one does not understand when the nature of wisdom, means, and ignorance manifests, nature will be confused. Therefore, if one doubts what to obscure with what, one will never be able to enter the light. So, do we rely on the all-pervading purity, or on the difference of times such as kshana? Do not say that. During the time of learning, it is all-pervading.
