Thus, [she] proclaimed the fourth suchness in this way, and the sound of proclamation refers to this. What is it like? Wherever there is no going and coming, there is no entering and rising; the sound of ni also indicates that there is no abiding. This shows the difference from non-vajra recitation. Exhaustion is the absence of self-nature, and increase is the arising of the mind's luminosity; those too are nowhere to be found. This shows the difference from the stages of focusing on the mind. Similarly, non-existence is the absence of conceptualization of conventional appearances, and existence is like illusion; those too will not become objects of focus. This shows the difference from the stages of blessing oneself. That which is wondrous in form is because the collection of natures with habitual tendencies dissolves, and that which is not wondrous is because it is the nature of peace. Remaining and swiftly moving are birth and death, because those are absent. "Not remaining, nor swiftly moving." This is what is shown, and concealment is the ultimate that goes before. Furthermore, whatever is free from the terms of existence and non-existence, is not the form of merit, is not the form of sin, is not the nature of merit and sin, is the supreme. That is what the Buddhas proclaim as emptiness of all. This is what is proclaimed, and that which is proclaimed as emptiness of all by the Buddhas refutes self-fabrication. What is it like? Whatever is without natures, is free from the term of existence, and because it is the nature of the dharma of luminosity, it is free from the term of non-existence. Similarly, it is not the form of merit and sin, because in luminosity there are no afflictions and discriminations. The three realms are not the nature of merit and sin, because their existence is contradictory. Therefore, the supreme is the true limit, and is ultimate. In order to explain the remainder. The yogi obtains suchness in that way. The nature of cause and non-cause, is the friend of beings. The lion among men, the nature of wisdom, obtains the imperishable body, is the cause of all beings. This is what is proclaimed, and this yogi who obtains the imperishable body, obtains the dharmakaya, which is luminosity.

The afterbirth alone is the Dharmakaya. Therefore, the solitary companion, the yogi, travels for the sake of all beings, acting for the benefit of sentient beings, and not for other purposes. What has he done? Having obtained the previously mentioned self-luminous Suchness from the guru's mouth, he then travels. What kind of yogi is he? Called the "nature of movement and non-movement," that is, when doing the work of benefiting beings, it is also the nature of moving and non-moving objects, because they all depend on luminosity. Therefore, the wisdom nature is wisdom without wisdom, its nature being separate from the delusions such as attachments that are separately explained in the teachings of similar and dissimilar kinds. This shows entering into the correct view. The lion of men refers to this, being the most excellent among holy persons, just as the literal meaning. In order to explain the purity of conduct, it is said: His body, even if bent, is upright; even if not abiding in the teachings, he abides; his eyes, even if closed, are fully open eyes; even if he has not entered into samadhi, he is in samadhi. Some who enter into samadhi meditate with their bodies upright, but this yogi is the same whether his body is bent or upright, because it is for accomplishing what is to be accomplished. Some sit on soft cushions to meditate, but this yogi is the same whether he dwells on cushions or without cushions, because he dwells on the seat of Suchness. Some close their eyes and enter into samadhi, but this yogi is the same whether his eyes are closed or open, because having attained Suchness, those (postures) are unnecessary. Therefore, this yogi, even if not in samadhi, is only in samadhi, because in both states he has not completely abandoned luminosity. This is the literal meaning. Furthermore, in order to explain this, it is said: He, even if having speech, is unspeakable; he, even if having form, is formless; he, even if isolated from the world, becomes a servant of others; whoever realizes that Suchness, all faults will be exhausted. Thus it is said, whatever kind of yogi he is, he will realize that Suchness.
