All limits are well established. To illustrate this with an example, it is said: Just as fire resides in wood, it will not appear if not rubbed. Likewise, enlightenment, being apart from practice, will not appear in this life. Thus it is proclaimed. Here, the four great elements are the nature of things themselves, and earth and so on are not different from each other. Therefore, even though the element of fire resides within wood, it does not appear on its own; only earth appears there. The causes that closely grasp and act together benefit each other and abide in the things that benefit, abiding in the nature of the principal and qualities, because they depend on a single assembly. Therefore, if fire resides within wood, it will not appear unless rubbed. Similarly, even if the nature of reality pervades the aggregates and so on, those who are apart from practice will not appear without cultivation. Therefore, yogis who abide in the completion stage should diligently practice the path of cultivation in order to realize that very truth. In order to bestow the sequence of objects of mind, those who have deceitful and cunning minds and are lazy, see the faults of the guru as faults and not as virtues. They slander the guru, boast of having received empowerment, and become arrogant. Those of inferior intellect, even if they have diligence, will not attain perfect enlightenment. Thus it is said. Such a student is not a suitable vessel, as is shown. What is it? Having a deceitful mind means not having an honest mind. Being lazy means not making effort in virtuous Dharma. Likewise, only seeing the guru's faults and not seeing the virtues, such as the oral instructions and being wise. Likewise, slandering the guru means that my vajra master knows a little, and I realize the meaning of the tantra by the power of my self-born wisdom, and I am not accomplished by the guru, which is slandering the guru. Likewise, ordinary people like me cannot attain omniscience, which is having inferior students. Likewise, without service and offerings, one wants to quickly attain that result. It is not a true word, and one becomes agitated with anger. Seeing the guru in a large gathering, one turns one's back.

Ye. Then, that is going to a secluded place to prostrate. This is said to be easy to understand. Likewise. Thus, a student who is of bad nature and inferior, Even if he is one's own son, Should be completely abandoned like others. Even those born from the highest of royal and Jieu lineages, Should never be placed by one's side with steadfastness. This is said to be a student of bad nature, even if he is one's own son, he should be abandoned. Those who arise from the three castes of Brahmins, etc., if they are of bad nature, should be abandoned as before. This is a person like sandalwood, Not a vessel for the completion stage. As it is said: Those who have little learning and are arrogant, Speak much without root, Cannot be followed, Are called sandalwood people. So it is said. In order to explain a person like a precious jewel, Possessing excellent qualities, wisdom, and diligence, Or, respecting the lama as equal to the Buddha, Understanding the Dharma of the Victorious Ones and having great devotion to the teachings, That is a vessel here, therefore bestow kindness upon them. It is said that such a person is a vessel for this stage. What is it like? Excellent qualities are loving-kindness and so on, And possessing faith and so on. The so-called possessing wisdom and diligence, Possessing wisdom by being diligent in the five fields of knowledge, And possessing diligence because of striving to practice virtuous Dharma. Similarly, the lama is the Vajra Acharya, seeing him as equal to the Buddha, Similarly, the Dharma of the Victorious Ones is the three pitakas, being skilled in them, Whoever has devotion to the teachings of the Bhagavan, bestowing kindness upon them is to explain the meaning of the second stage. That is a person like a precious jewel. As it is said: Those who are pure in morality and skilled in honesty, Possessing wisdom and being of one mind, Those who teach well after hearing, Are called precious people. So it is said. Now, in order to explain Utpala and white lotus with only one tantra. Having heard many tantras and being well-versed in the scriptures, But because of neglecting the service of the lama, not having received the scriptures, He has no power even for his own benefit, but argues about the treatises, His treatises are disgusting.
