Attaining accomplishment is shown to be attained externally through the union of the two wisdoms. The action that is spoken of is, as it is said, refers to the four lineages such as the lotus lineage, and action refers to the collection of actions. Starting from understanding the coarse, subtle, and intermediate distinctions of the wisdom mother's lotus, it is the attainment of wisdom from the collection of actions spoken of in the glorious Four Seats Tantra. As it is said: The eye and the iron hook should enter here, similarly, the banner is also meaningless, here the upright woman's threatening fingers are two, and it has the power to do many things to it. This appears from the treatise on desire. In order to explain entering equally with the wisdom mudra when there is no external mudra, if the lotus vajra is joined, even if it does not exist in the conventional, even after experiencing it just once, one can accomplish it through the power of yoga. As it is said, after experiencing luminosity just once, even if there is no connection between the vajra and the lotus afterward, the yogi can attain accomplishment through the power of the samadhi previously experienced. Thus, relying on external and internal mudras, by realizing the distinctions of wisdom, one can fully know the nature of nature. To explain this, by the nature of entering wisdom, after knowing the distinctions as they are, the nature itself again, the yogi should always indicate. As it is said, if one fully knows the distinctions such as pure and impure appearances, then those natures will also be experienced in the same way. This is to explain the pervasive purity, just as clouds are various, and colors and shapes are different, after arising in the realm of space, they will also dissolve into it. As it is said, just as clouds with colors such as white and red, and similarly with shapes such as elephants and horses, arise from the sky and dissolve into it after doing their work, it is not known from where they arise and where they disappear, this is an illustration. To explain arising from the example, similarly all natures

Is. It has the cause of the three appearances. After completely entering the object, it will enter the light. It is said like this. Similarly, the nature of being free from attachment, etc., which is caused by the three appearances, enjoys the objects in front of it, and will eventually enter the light, which means becoming one with it. In order to explain that not fully understanding these is the cause of samsara. Because of not understanding such a nature, covered by the darkness of ignorance, creating good and non-good karma, will be transformed into the five paths. It is said like this. Because the darkness of ignorance covers the eyes of wisdom, not knowing that these natures are the nature of light, because of creating good and non-good karma, they will wander in the wilderness of the five paths of samsara, that is, they will be oppressed by birth, old age, etc., and wander in coming and going. In order to elaborate on this reason. After creating the five uninterrupted sins, etc., they will be tortured in hells, etc. After performing good deeds such as giving, they will be offered in heavens and other places. It is said like this. The five uninterrupted sins are the five kinds of killing mothers, etc., that is, the place where killing and other things exist at the beginning is the five uninterrupted sins, etc. After creating the characteristics that are contrary to the good Dharma, they will be tortured in hells, etc. That is, experiencing the suffering of torture in cold and hot hells. Similarly, if you practice giving with attachment, you will be offered in the heavens such as the Four Great Heavenly Kings. Therefore, it will abide in the nature of good and bad destinies, the cycle of rotation like a wheel. In order to explain that for those who do not fully understand nature and appearance, samsara is boundless. For countless kalpas, (the body) has been repeatedly obtained here. This is the maturity of past karma, and the foolish ones are sad. It is said like this. The foolish ones have countless thousands of lives because they do not understand the truth of nature and appearance.

Having attained that, one becomes troubled by samsara, thinking, "This is the maturation of past actions," which means recognizing that this is the manifestation of the nature of happiness and suffering matured from previous actions, and thus feeling sorrow. Since all things are of a luminous nature, there is no cause for good or bad destinies. Because one does not understand bondage and liberation, it is called ignorance. In order to explain that liberation comes from understanding reality itself, it is said, "By the way of the manifestation of self-nature, whatever beings experience suffering, knowing that it is inseparable from luminosity, the wise will be liberated from the prison of existence." This means that if yogis recognize that it is inseparable from luminosity, they will be liberated from the net of samsara, which is characterized by incomplete understanding. As it is said, "Whoever is bound by ignorance, he can also be liberated by wisdom. By meditating on enlightenment in this way, all these will be reversed." This is quoted from the Tantra of Accomplishing Meaning. Now, whether from the sequence of mantras or mudras, when one attains the luminosity of the mind, one is a yogi of the completion stage. When one meditates on the wisdoms of appearance, etc., as having completely transformed into the nature of the moon and vajra, then one is a yogi of the generation stage, a beginner in the completion stage. Therefore, through the sequence of appearances, etc., relying only on the seat of the moon, etc., one should manifest luminosity alone. Therefore, it is said, "This very nature of wisdom should be contemplated in the mandala of the moon. The mind itself will see, one's own self is like the form of the moon." This means that the mandala of the moon contemplated by the practitioner of the generation stage is the very nature of wisdom, because it is without impurity. For that reason, one's own mind, being free from all the defilements of afflictions, will see purity like the form of the moon.
