The wisdom of appearance truly arises. Thus it is said, through the door of nomenclature, relying on the sequence of mantras, it should be shown that the wisdom of appearance arises. These natures, all relying on the clear form of conventional truth, are spoken of as the name of night. Why? Night is wisdom, because the moon rises. That rising is also because the mind of enlightenment descends from the aperture of Brahma. It is said to be the name of a woman because it is the nature of wisdom. Gentle, because it is focused on inferior bliss. It is said to be the name of the left because it arises from the consciousness that clings to the wind dwelling in the left channel. The lunar mandala is named lunar mandala because the mandala of the mind of enlightenment arises. Represented by a lotus, it is named lotus because it is the nature of wisdom. For those who are beginners in practice, because they do not truly contemplate, the first vowel with a bindu is placed on the lotus and the moon. The wisdom of appearance, like moonlight, arises. This is the sequence of mantras that abides in the completion stage. Here, only the eight-spoked wheel of the sphere of reality is the eight-petaled lotus. The mind of enlightenment abiding there is the lunar mandala. There, also, from the form of the channel, the first vowel with a bindu, which is established by its own nature, emits rays of light. By the nature of bowing to it, the entering wind is hooked and drawn in. If one fully knows the nature of the entering consciousness with its nature, then the wisdom of appearance, like moonlight, will arise. Through the door of the sequence of mantras, one aspect of the complete purification of the mind is shown. Now, in order to explain the second wisdom, the utterly empty, endowed with skillful means, is called the increasing appearance. Thus, it is said that it is completely fabricated, and thus it is said to arise from the mind. Thus it is said, because it is more pleasing than the former, it is the increasing appearance. Utterly empty, because the forty natures are not apprehended. Skillful means is because the consciousness of the afflicted mind is the cause of the realm of experience. Or, skillful means is the aspect of consciousness dwelling in the right channel.
