It cannot be represented through a gateway either, because that is the cause of conceptualization. Non-conceptualization and conceptualization contradict each other, so if non-conceptualization is shown, it itself becomes connected with conceptualization. For example, even if you say not to remember, the prohibition itself is remembering, and so on. If you close your eyes and meditate on Suchness, you will not attain it thereby, because the very nature of pervasiveness will be lost. Because Suchness abides in one direction, pervading moving and non-moving things. If it exists, then meditation is unnecessary. If it does not exist, then meditation is also useless. If two parts are brought close together, contradictory phenomena will arise, so it is not appropriate to meditate. Therefore, what is the kindness of the Guru like? It is said: This great Mantra Vehicle is the four mudras taught by glorious Bodhicitta Vajra. Among them, three mudras are means, and what is the last, the fourth, that is the result. Among them, first, entrusting any one of the Karma Mudra etc. to the disciple, he experiences appearances etc. together with it, and makes the clear light manifest. Through metaphors and things arising from metaphors, with the reasoning of subject and nature, knowing that the Dharmakaya is just this, abiding in the realm of non-conceptualization. Having risen from that, again with diligent wisdom, one should abide for a thousand kalpas. At the time of rising, in order to clarify Suchness in the gateway shown by the teacher, one should speak accordingly, because Suchness is self-born. Showing it itself is not producing, but is without fault. From the commentary on the Five Stages, Clarifying the Meaning of the Stages, the stage of Vajra Recitation, is the first. Second, the stage of focusing on the mind. Now is the beginning of writing the second stage. In order to pay homage to the Bhagavan Vajradhara, I prostrate and bow, I prostrate and praise, I prostrate and bow. How to praise and prostrate? To whom to praise, and with what to praise? I prostrate to you, the great Vajradhara. Thus, Vairochana.
