If so, what arises from nature is nature itself. These natures are also of three kinds: the nature of wisdom, the nature of skillful means, and the nature of ignorance. Among these, the nature of wisdom is non-attachment, intermediate attachment, and great attachment, etc., which will be explained below as thirty-three. The nature of skillful means is attachment and intermediate attachment, etc., which are forty. The nature of ignorance is intermediate attachment, etc., which are seven. These become one hundred and sixty in night and day. These become all the afflictions and sixty-two views. The divisions of the sixty-two views are: form is the self, the self is in form, form is in the self, form and self are not different, like firewood. Similarly, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are also combined with it, resulting in twenty views. These are divided by the three times of past, present, and future, resulting in sixty views. Adding the two views of permanence and annihilation, there are a total of sixty-two views. Therefore, afflictions and near afflictions, etc., and all views, are not different from these three natures of wisdom, skillful means, and ignorance, and should be included within them. Therefore, all that arises from the mind is nature itself. The three consciousnesses bound by these natures will revolve in samsara. As it is said: Apart from the fundamental place, there is no place for dancing. Due to the differences of various karmas, where do sentient beings not dance? Therefore, these three consciousnesses can also be referred to by the names of mind, intellect, consciousness, as well as emptiness, extreme emptiness, great emptiness, as well as appearance, increasing appearance, closely attaining appearance, as well as wisdom, skillful means, ignorance, as well as detachment, desire, intermediate desire, as well as inferior, sharp, intermediate, as well as moon, sun, as well as night, day, as well as boundary, as well as female, male, hermaphrodite, etc. These should also be arranged according to the previously shown sequence of mudras.
