If so, then just as one sleeps on a grass mat or leaves, how one lays down a grass mat or leaves mat well once, and sleeps just like that, without moving or adjusting it again and again, that is living as it is. Why are these called purifying qualities? For example, when wool or cotton is not combed, it is not soft, light, and workable, like being spun into thread or twisted into rope. When combing, beating, and shaking are completed, it becomes soft, light, and workable, just like being able to be spun into thread or twisted into rope. Similarly, some people become attached to alms, so their minds become attached to alms, and they become attached everywhere; because they are attached to clothes, they are attached to clothes; because they are attached to dwellings, their minds become attached to dwellings, and they become attached everywhere. Therefore, in order to abide in celibacy, these purifying qualities purify and straighten, that is, make them workable, free from outflows, and pure, so they are called purifying qualities. Among them, for alms, attachment to abundant food and attachment to a lot of food are obstacles. Therefore, in order to abandon attachment to abundant food, one is an alms seeker. In order to abandon attachment to a lot of food, one is one who sits alone and does not accept leftover food. Among them, there are three kinds of obstacles to attachment to clothes: attachment to many clothes, attachment to soft touch, and attachment to luxurious clothes. Among them, in order to abandon attachment to many clothes, one is one who wears three Dharma robes. In order to abandon attachment to the soft touch of clothes, one is one who wears felt. In order to abandon attachment to luxurious clothes, one is one who wears rags. There are four kinds of attachment to dwellings, namely, attachment to bustle, attachment to dwellings, attachment to comfort and the pleasure of sleep, and attachment to collecting, stretching, and shaking. Among them, in order to abandon attachment to bustle, one is one who lives in a secluded place. In order to abandon attachment to dwellings, one is one who lives under a tree, one who has no roof, and one who lives in a cemetery. Furthermore, in order to abandon attachment to sexual intercourse, also

They are practitioners in the charnel ground. In order to abandon attachment to pleasant comfort and the comfort of sleep, they are the "Cokpuba". In order to abandon attachment to gathering, stretching, and shaking, they are those who abide as they are. In this way, those who are endowed with the qualities of practice are those who enter into abandoning assembly, and are called "Shravakas". Those who, along with them and the various other Vajra vows and so forth spoken by the Bhagavan, bear the burden of suffering, are not madmen, but they are those who seek Suchness and undertake vows. The mind is also Suchness, and is also examined by the wisdom previously spoken of, and is merely the order of manifest enlightenment. Therefore, those who desire manifest enlightenment rely on a collection of various different vows, this is the concluding statement. Not knowing is abandoning. Everything is because wisdom is the same. The mind enters into everything. Examination is not entering. Thus it is said. It is not that meaning. Now, in order to show that if there is no Suchness, then they are without fruit. Those who are inferior to Suchness, the order of vows, conduct, and so forth, because that Suchness is inferior in wisdom, therefore one cannot attain liberation through it. Thus it is said. Inferior to Suchness, that is, those who have vows separate from Suchness, whatever path of the order of vows and so forth and conduct and so forth, one will not attain liberation, one will not attain liberation. Because that Suchness is wisdom, that is, the fourth (line) itself. Because that Suchness is both Suchness and is itself that which makes wisdom completely pure, therefore it is also wisdom, therefore that Suchness is wisdom. Because that Suchness is inferior and is itself separate from it. For the time being, completely understanding Suchness is the main cause of liberation, and vows are the main part of a limb due to the difference in faith, but it is not the main one. Because even without vows, those who understand Suchness can attain liberation, therefore it is thought that if there is no Suchness, one cannot attain liberation through vows. In this way, a similar result arises from a similar cause, liberation is abandoning all faults of discrimination.
