Thus, it is spoken and explained by the great Vajradhara, the essence of all Tathagatas. As it is said in the glorious First One: Desire, hatred, and delusion, These three are great poisons. If one relies on poison itself, One will approach the state of poison. If one relies on nectar itself, One will become an object of nectar. Thus it is said. Here, the meaning is this: desire is the appearance endowed with the aspect of joy. Hatred is the appearance endowed with the aspect of separation, which is closely attained. Ignorance is the supreme endowed with the aspect of clear appearance. These are the fourth vision of the clear light of Suchness, which is a poison similar to the poison of the world, which kills like poison and causes one to fall into the ocean of samsara. Whenever one relies on and practices them with poison itself, that is, with discrimination, then one will approach the state of poison. Again, whenever one relies on nectar itself, that is, by knowing the four Suchnesses in an instant and making them of one taste, then it will become the nectar that is the cause for attaining the state of glorious Vajradhara. This is the hidden meaning. The measure of all scriptures is: In various sutras and tantras, Whatever is closely shown as such, That is the place of all emptiness, There, no other is spoken. Thus it is said. In the Mahayana sutra section, the various sutras such as the Bhagavati-mata-shatasahasrika, and similarly in the various tantras of Kriya, Charya, Yoga, and Anuttarayoga, that Suchness which is shown by the words such as selflessness, Suchness, ultimate reality, emptiness, mere imputation, etc., is spoken by making the clear light of the four instructions the master of the place of all emptiness. In those kings of sutras and tantras, nothing other than Suchness is spoken. In some sutras of the Mahayana sutra section, Suchness is consciousness with aspects, in some, Suchness is consciousness without aspects, and in some, Suchness is the grasped and the grasper.

It has been shown that the absence of inherent existence is devoid of separation. In the action tantras, it is only the contemplation of suchness (དེ་ཁོ་ན་ཉིད།, tathatā) as the form of a deity; in the yoga tantras, it is only the contemplation of suchness as the subtle vajra; and in the highest yoga, it is said that suchness is the yoga of complete examination and complete accomplishment, which is to be shown by the two stages. Among them, some are the suchness of subtle yoga, some are the suchness of bindu yoga, and the suchness of six-limbed yoga, the fundamental suchness, the suchness of mudra, and the suchness of wind and mantra, etc. Are these not showing the differences of suchness? Therefore, how can it be said that everything is only one state of emptiness? It should not be said so, because there is no difference in what is called suchness. That which is in accordance with it is the nature of conventional truth, and therefore it is with conceptualization, so it is not suchness at all. Whatever is shown by difference is the showing of the difference of means, and the difference of means is also based on the difference of yogis, and is spoken by the Bhagavan. Similarly, depending on the differences of realms, predispositions, and latent tendencies, like a doctor, he made teachings that are in accordance with them, and by relying on their methods, one will attain one suchness. The suchness of all treatises is only one, but it is different due to the difference of the basis, but like water, it is not so in its own nature. Similarly, the rain that falls in summer becomes nectar in sugarcane fields and so on, but in snakes and so on, it becomes poison itself. Similarly, the one place of emptiness of all, those of the Hearer lineage hold it as the nature of the cessation attainment. The Sutra school and the Yogacara hold it through the door of consciousness-only with and without aspects. Bodhisattvas hold onto the selflessness that is free from the grasped and the grasper.

Holding through the gate of suchness. Those who rely on treatises such as actions, in order to hold through the gate of meditating on deities, etc., therefore, suchness is established as only one. When one is urged by the wheel of rays of the Tathagata, or when the power of the habit of the collection of merit and wisdom accumulated in the past is greatly manifested, or when one meets a virtuous spiritual friend, or when one receives the grace of the master, then all those manifestations of luminosity will also manifest, because it is too excessive, it is enough, it is ultimate. Conclusion: The great sage's collection of teachings, From the eighty-four thousand, The nature of manifest enlightenment, Is spoken of as the essence of the essence. Thus it is said, the great sage's collection of teachings is the collection of holy Dharma that possesses the measure of eighty-four thousand. From that, the essence, that is, from the Samadhi of the generation stage, also the supreme essence, that is, the nature of manifest enlightenment that should be taken, is said to be the nature of emptiness of all, thus thinking. That is an approximate metaphor, the Hearers' Pitaka has eighty-four thousand. The Great Vehicle's Pitaka has ninety thousand. The Great Vehicle's Secret Mantra Pitaka has eight thousand. Then how much is the measure of the collection of teachings? It should be said, like a divine cloth, or a single palm leaf, etc., a scripture written with letters the size of the tip of a hair, how many can fill the back of a mature, mad elephant, that is one collection of teachings, one thousand of those, like that there are eighty-four thousand and ninety thousand and one hundred thousand, that is the ultimate. Seeking the meaning of suchness through the distinctions of asceticism. Matted hair, naked, head touching the ground, Headdresses gathered, abandoning and entering, Various signs, this and that, Those who desire manifest enlightenment. Thus it is said, the one with matted hair, that is, with the generation stage, in the form similar to deities, with artificial faces and hands made of wood, etc.
