At the time of meditating, the yogi, with the power of a moment, can transform the three realms into his own nature, thereby attaining the great accomplishment of Vajradhara, that is its meaning. Therefore, for the meditator who practices the generation stage, whatever is accomplished through suffering, this yogi can accomplish without effort, this is just the literal meaning, not the deep meaning. Now, in order to show that this itself should be kept secret, it is said: "Quickly and abiding, as well as the slow one combined with mantra, the guru should, in the disciple's ear, diligently tell." It means that through such a sequence of actions, with the sequence of quickness and so on, combining the mantra and the three letters is oneness. Through this method, reciting mantras, inviting, and so on, the guru, that is, the Vajra master, should tell in the disciple's ear, which shows that this is extremely secret, this is said from the deep meaning. Or, quickness is separation, abiding is supreme, slowness is joy, these and the mantra, that is, the fourth without breath, combined together, just like ghee melting into ghee, become one. Such a pith instruction empowerment, the guru should tell in the disciple's ear, that is, keep it secret. Now is another difference of Vajra recitation. After that, the Yoga自在者(Yogeshvara), is good at showing the supreme means, and gives the fruit of yoga. The secret letter will be shown, just by thinking, the yogi can give the supreme." It means that from "ངེ་" onwards, as one of the three secret letters, because it is the nature of the mind, it is secret. Because the Dharmadhatu is immovable, it is nature, so it is a letter. Supreme is the inner self. Means are the sequence of the four mandalas, arranged by distinguishing parts and parts. Showing it is to make it obtained. Yoga自在者(Yogeshvara), is spoken for the sake of the actions of the yogis of the completion stage, and should be separated and spoken. Yoga is samadhi. There, the fruit is to obtain the state of Vajradhara.

That is to say, giving that (siddhi) is to make it obtained. (If) it is said to be excellent, let alone meditation, just remembering it will become a wall yogi, giving the most supreme mantra, and benefiting the world, this is not the (scripture's) intent. That is: By the combination of the first letter, constantly exhale the breath, with the eighth ending possessing faith, the letter U combined with bindu, the yogi exhales the breath, here it is said to be the recitation of desire. Thus it is said, the meaning is this: For a while, first the yogi of Vajra recitation, in the mandala of the navel chakra, in the center of the eight-spoked wheel of the Dharmadhatu, meditate on the letter A (ཨ, Sanskrit: अ, Roman transliteration: a, literal meaning: A). From that (letter A) in an instant, through the gate of light rays, emanate three letters, placing them as they are. Then, as before, gather them, and think only of the letter Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: हुं, Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hum). This is being taught, the first letter is the letter A (ཨ, Sanskrit: अ, Roman transliteration: a, literal meaning: A). By that combination, exhaling the breath is to emanate the three letters. After that, observe them as they are, gather them, and then the eighth ending, the letter Ha (ཧ, Sanskrit: ह, Roman transliteration: ha, literal meaning: Ha), the letter U (ཨཱུ, Sanskrit: ऊ, Roman transliteration: ū, literal meaning: U) and the letter Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: हुं, Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hum) which is truly combined with bindu, after thinking, in the four mandalas, meditate on the parts, relying on that (letter Hum), exhaling the breath is to do the three, such as inhaling. That is the recitation of desire, accomplishing all desires, it is said to be the recitation of nature, which is the essence of the Mind Vajradhara, the body and speech becoming one, this is not the (scripture's) intent. Now, as before, the number of recitations is also: Twenty thousand and a thousand, and likewise only six hundred, the yogi master during the day and night, the number of recitations is definite. Thus it is said, the thought is this: This Vajra recitation is only a mantra, equal to the different mandalas and the order of winds and time periods. Who can reduce or increase the number of winds that are naturally accomplished? Otherwise, why would the Bhagavan say the number of twenty-one thousand six hundred? As the sound.

Now, in order to demonstrate the validity of the scriptures, therefore, for those who desire it, from the Secret Intentions Sutra, the subtle yoga is thoroughly explained. It is said, "Although there is no recitation or meditation, yet it is said to be mantra recitation." The Secret Intentions Sutra refers to the prophecies of intent from the explanatory tantras of the Guhyasamaja Tantra. For those who desire and long for manifestation, the Bhagavan explained the subtle yoga, which is the vajra recitation of the very nature of reality. This does not involve recitation, such as practicing the recitation of mantras a million times, nor does it involve meditation, such as visualizing the deity's form with face and hands, etc. Although these are abandoned, yet it is said to be the recitation of a yogi, because this recitation is self-accomplished. This is the meaning of the words. It is said in the scripture, "Even without recitation or meditation, the unskilled can avert with vajra recitation." Therefore, this is not a secret intention. Now, in order to explain that vajra recitation has the power to accomplish all things, it is said in the scripture, "With this vajra recitation, if one practices as in the ritual, with illusion-like samadhi, one can accomplish all actions." "With this" refers to the previously mentioned sequence of vajra recitation. "As in the ritual" means practicing with the sequence of the four mandalas, that is, abiding in the right nostril, etc., for half a period of time, thereby effortlessly accomplishing all actions such as pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and attracting. If that is the case, then what is the difference between a yogi of the generation stage and this? It is said in the scripture, "With illusion-like samadhi." It means that with the sequence of self-blessing, holding the rainbow-like form of Vajradhara, and seeing all external objects as illusion-like twelve similes, therefore one can accomplish all actions. This sequence is not possessed by a yogi of the generation stage. This is the common meaning and the hidden explanation. Now, because of accomplishment through the distinction of time, therefore it is said in the Great Yoga Tantra of Non-Duality Victorious Wisdom, "The unequaled mantra is recitation..."
