This is the state of the great Vajradhara, which is inexhaustible and endless, realized by the yogis who practice the Completion Stage, which is the state of the Tathagata, and should be said to be pervasive and ultimate. That is: The so-called sleep and awakening, Those states are all abandoned, Because they are separated from sleep and awakening, The teacher is the union. It is said that sleep is the sleep of the mind in the dark night of ignorance because the nature of things is not fully understood, that is, ignorance itself. Awakening is the complete knowledge of the nature of things through the complete analysis of measurement. Those two states, that is, the difference between the moments of the mind's entry, have been abandoned and clarified, so they are separated from sleep and awakening, that is, the teacher who has abandoned knowledge and ignorance, the Buddha, the samadhi in which he abides, the yogi should know that it is the union, this is the general meaning. Or, sleep is the mind of enlightenment that merges into the seventy-two thousand channels. Awakening is the abode on the top of the vajra, dripping from them through the gate of equalizing means and wisdom. Such two states, from awakening to sleep and awakening, that is, abandoning entry and rising, abiding in the order of union, and becoming the all-knowing teacher, this is the ultimate. That is: Samadhi and non-samadhi, In what place are all aspects absent? Abandoning the real and the unreal, The yogi is the state of union. It is said that the samadhi of the yogi of the generation stage is to practice the body of the deity through the first practice and other stages. Non-samadhi is that all of them have been done, and they abide in the four postures in the session. Similarly, the samadhi of the yogi of the completion stage is to be manifestly happy in the meditation of vajra recitation and so on. Non-samadhi is rising from them only by appearance. Those two, in what kind of samadhi, all aspects, that is, are not in the three times. That yogi is the real and the unreal, that is, the sama

And completely severing and abandoning distractions, one should know that one abides in union. This sentence is the remaining words, the ultimate. Or, equal abiding is entering and abiding. Unequal abiding is arising. Those yogis who do not exist in any samadhi, in any circumstance, even in the three times of wind, know that they are severing the union of arising and entering produced by the real and unreal, that is, the winds of life and effort, and abiding in union. This is not the intention. The aspect of the stages of purifying the mind is: Liberated from memory and non-memory, Constantly and continuously abiding, The yogi acts as he wishes, Abiding in the stage of union. As it is said, memory is the understanding of the luminosity of all phenomena as emptiness. Non-memory refers to the cessation of the three consciousnesses and natures, attaining the state of non-discrimination, and liberation from those is severance. Therefore, constantly and continuously, that is, abiding in the continuation of samsara, staying for the benefit of sentient beings, therefore it is constantly and continuously abiding. Such a yogi acts as he wishes, that is, freely practices the four postures. Know that it is abiding in the stage of union, this is hidden. The stages of self-blessing and manifest enlightenment are: Liberated from attachment and Non-attachment, Possessing a body of supreme joy, Practicing union, Abiding in the world of samsara. As it is said, attachment is joy and supreme joy. Non-attachment is detachment from joy, that is, liberation and severance from the nature of having various, mature, and altered aspects. Therefore, supreme joy is the co-emergent bliss of nature born in an instant separate from characteristics, possessing the body of its nature, that is, the essence, is possessing the body of supreme joy. Supreme, that is, especially surpassing joy is co-emergent joy, and supreme joy is the fourth joy, it should be said. Or, joy beyond the supreme is supreme joy.

Therefore, for summarizing with holding words, just like the king of leaves, etc., because the intermediate words are not manifest, it should be said that it is the fourth bliss itself. Or, just like the words "Dakini" etc., because the meaning of the branches cannot be explained, the word "supreme bliss" is for proclamation. The fourth is used to express, and because it is the sound that arises through union, it belongs to the second, and there is no fault, this is the ultimate meaning. After that, in order to benefit sentient beings, rising from that in an instant, focusing on the body of the deity. As long as samsara lasts, that is, abiding in the ultimate of samsara, and when it abides in the manner of displaying different mandala wheels, at that time the yogi should know that he is abiding in the stage of union, this is hidden. From the perspective of one's own nature, the fifth stage is: Cause and fruit themselves, and, having made the nature inseparable, wherever the yogi abides, that is said to be the union by the Buddhas. Thus it is said, cause refers to the collection of habitual tendencies related to the alaya-consciousness. Fruit refers to the body arising from the bindus of semen and blood. These cause and fruit are inseparable in nature, and again, having made them into the nature of non-arising, wherever the yogi abides, the Buddhas say that is the stage of union, this is the literal meaning. Or, cause and fruit are co-emergent and the lotus of wisdom. Having made these inseparable, wherever the yogi abides, that itself is the stage of union for the yogi, the Buddhas said, this is the guiding meaning. Cause is the four stages of Vajra recitation and so on. Fruit is the fifth stage, having made these inseparable and making them of one taste, wherever the yogi abides, the Buddhas say that is the stage of union, this is the definitive meaning. Now from the perspective of the two stages: This generation stage is one, the completion stage is called, wherever the two become one, that is called union.
