Indeed, because it is solely the nature of the ultimate truth, without any other meaning, it would lead to the previous aspirations becoming meaningless, and like Mahadeva, it would turn into a nihilistic view. Therefore, the sequence of self-blessing is not on the side of permanence, because it is the body of wisdom; nor is it on the side of annihilation, because it is the form of the deity arising from the ultimate truth. Therefore, one should truly remember the suffering of the three times of samsara, and those who desire liberation should strive to please the Vajra Master, thereby obtaining the oral instructions of the sequence of self-blessing, and diligently practice to purify it, which is not the intention (of the Buddhas). Offering to the Lama by whose kindness one is liberated is: "Having completely abandoned all offerings, Truly begin offering to the Lama, By pleasing him, omniscient, The supreme wisdom is obtained." Thus it is said, offering everything, that is, abandoning all offerings to oneself and others, begin and perform offering to the Vajra Master, the Lama. Because offering to others only leads to obtaining a good rebirth, while pleasing the Lama leads to obtaining the wisdom of omniscience, that is, relative to the sequence of generating that unique jewel, which is stabilized by the five stages, it is supreme. The difference between higher realms and liberation is great, this is a concluding statement, that is, the literal meaning. The fruit of offering is: "The unsurpassed master is, Vajrasattva, having been offered to, What merit of his has not been done? What asceticism has not been relied upon?" Thus it is said, the unsurpassed, that is, the Vajra Master, the Lama, who is mainly wisdom and compassion, is the same as the Lama Vajrasattva, whoever offers to him, then that practitioner has accumulated merit, what virtuous deeds have not been accumulated? And contemplating the abodes of Brahma and so on, what is there that has not been relied upon, which is characterized by asceticism? It is just doing those. In the root tantra it is also said: "We are the father of all Buddhas, we are not the mother of all Buddhas." Thus, having proclaimed and made offerings in the three times, they departed. Therefore, Vajrasattva...
