It is said in the sutra called "The Great Vehicle". Shakya Simha is the most excellent of the Shakya clan. Because it is measured as if transformed from manifestation. The Tathagata, that is, the Tathagata because of realizing suchness. Fourth, the luminous suchness of manifest Bodhi, because it is desired and desired to be obtained, it is the desire for manifest Bodhi. The desire to manifest the fourth suchness will be thought of in this way: What is the fourth suchness? It is called the Great Emptiness. Like this, this is both emptiness and great, so it is the Great Emptiness. Apart from that, there is no emptiness. Therefore, it must be taken, therefore I will obtain and attain Buddhahood through that samadhi, based on this manifest idea. When seeking a secluded place for samadhi away from the crowd, finally seeing the river called Nairanjana flowing peacefully, becoming the cause of single-minded concentration, they came to the river bank, that is, the shore. Abiding there, they approached and resided near the root of the Bodhi tree, and in the order of pure mind, they resided and equally resided in the third suchness of the transformed aspect, that is, the immovable samadhi called the Great Emptiness. Because it is completely immovable and the habits related to all seeds are functioning, it is immovable, that is, it is called the Great Emptiness. Shakya Simha was completely pleased only by this, this is the meaning of language, that is, hidden. After that, in order to explain that this is not suchness, the Tathagatas closely indicated: At that time, filled like sesame seeds. The victorious ones dwelling in the sky. The son of the victorious one. Spoken with an immovable single word. These were said. Seeing the Bhagavan Shakyamuni abiding in the immovable samadhi, through the order of hearing and so on, attaining perfect enlightenment, and being devoted to benefiting sentient beings, possessing six supernatural powers, the Bhagavan who attained the position of Buddha, who was previously accomplished?

Those (Buddha) images are spread out like sesame pods in the sky, without mixing with each other. In order to embrace them, you emanate a wheel of light from your own body, and empower them with it, making them suitable vessels. In order to abandon the third dhyana, through the door of teaching the fourth instruction, in order to manifest enlightenment, thinking: this auspicious kalpa will become the king of Dharma, subduing beings. At that time, the Buddhas abide in the bodhisattva ground, and are accustomed to the state of great emptiness. To the son of the Buddhas who has not yet attained the Buddha ground, with unwavering, that is, abandoning illusion, extremely pure mind, with one voice, in one word, they spoke and taught thus, the sound as it is: That which is spoken by the Tathagatas is: This meditation is not completely pure. This is not the ultimate Buddhahood. Like the face of the sky, it is supreme. The clear light is its object. Thus it is said. O Bodhisattva Shakya Lion, in order to purify your mind completely, the meditation on the nature of great emptiness that you contemplate is not completely pure, because it is not for attaining the suchness of all emptiness, and even if desire and so on are completely purified, it is not for attaining the co-emergent suchness of the nature of extreme clarity and joy. Therefore, this meditation is not the means of attaining the ultimate goal, it is not the perfection of the completion stage. Therefore, it should be abandoned. However, you should contemplate that very clear light of all emptiness, which is between desire and non-desire, and gradually abandoning desire, that is, you should accept and rely on it. And what is that like? Like the face of the sky, like the realm of the sky, not stained by sudden impurities, and pervading everything, this is neither here nor there, it cannot be indicated and there is no obstruction. Supreme, because emptiness exists above all, so it is supreme, it should be known that it is the only one.
