In order to explain in detail these three, namely life and effort, therefore, two verses of the Tathagatas are spoken. The nature of the five wisdoms has already been explained. Because it is able to gather the ten winds, it is breath. The five elements are those that start from earth and reach up to space. Having those as their essence is nature. Likewise, the hardness at that time is the great earth element. That which is able to melt and satisfy is the great water element. That which is tactilely warm and particularly excellent and bright is the great fire element. The essence of movement, radiance, and shaking is the great wind element. Among them, the co-emergent bliss that pervades and the nature of having no object of focus is the great space element. Therefore, it has the nature of the five elements. Such bodhicitta, having the shape of a bindu, is called the tip of a lotus, which is a close symbol. At the tip of the vajra, bent and taken out from the joints of all the limbs, grasping their tips, contemplate it as a spherical shape, that is, the shape of a fine dust. It should be regarded as the nature of all the Tathagatas. Because it is the one nature of relative and ultimate truth, it is precious. Because it is the nature of the Tathagatas, it has five colors. Life, that is, the effort of having ten lives, that is, moving up and down, is said to be life and effort. The self-mantra is the Bhagavan Great Vajradhara. Contemplating in his heart, that is, in the center of the bindu, like before, contemplate the Bhagavan with clear and unclear shapes. Then, immerse the mind into the bindu of consciousness, placing it in the center as small as a mustard seed, and when focusing on that object, the mind will be controlled. What is said to be the ultimate of the dust that controls the mind and the ultimate of heat is not that meaning. Now, the separate explanation also uses this explanation, that is, the tantra spoken in the Vajra Garland, to indicate. It means that if at any time separately from the tantra of the Vajra Garland

Therefore, through detailed explanation, it will be easy to understand because it is clear at the time of explanation. This is the meaning of the words. The so-called "mustard seed at the tip of the nose" is the observation of life and effort. Abiding in life and effort, the five lights are visualized as the Buddhas. Determined to arise from the upper nose, right and left and both, flowing slowly and becoming four kinds. It is said that is the inner time. In the throat, heart, navel, and secret lotus, showing coming and going. In the time of half periods, abiding in order. The meaning is this: First, the yogi enters into abiding through the balance of method and wisdom, and then collects the bodhicitta bindu from the joints of all the limbs, as small as a mustard seed at the tip of the nose, and observes and visualizes life and effort as before, according to how they want. After that, the five rays of light abiding in that life and effort should be visualized as the nature of the five Buddhas. Those are also the nature of the five winds, which has already been said before. After that, in the four places such as the throat, visualize the mandalas of the nature of the four great elements, or generated by the vowels headed by ya ra la va, having the shapes of squares, circles, bows, and triangles, yellow, white, green, and red, and marked with the clothes of vajra, makara, bell, and victory banner, and the halo of flames. From each mandala, in the order of entering three letters etc., emanate wheels of light. That is also from the upper nose, that is, determined to arise from the direction of the face. From the left nostril, emanate light from the mandala of wind. The right is from the mandala of fire. Both are from the mandala of earth. Only both are from the mandala of water, however, it is slow and less flowing. That itself is the inner time, said to be the difference of the inner time. Until when should the wheel of light be emanated? "The period is the time of half periods," it is said, that

What should be said? Here, day and night have sixty-four hours, with thirty-two hours in the daytime. Day and night have eight periods. Eight hours is the duration of a period. 'Period' and 'period time interval' are just names. Half of that period is four hours. Half of that again is two hours. During that time, the light should be regarded as the tip of the nose. The order is according to the order of the mandala. 'As it is' means according to the order of the right side, etc. The idea is this: In the eight-hour period, half an hour of thirty breaths of exhalation and inhalation is the moment of shining light. In the three periods of the day, it becomes two and a half hours. Therefore, there are two hours in the daytime. In the four periods of the night, there are also two hours, so four hours is the time to experience luminosity, called the inner time. The remaining sixty hours remain as what is known in the world as day and night, but that is not the intention. Now, in order to explain the Lord of the Four Mandalas, the Tathagata, the distinctions of color, and the movement: On the right is the light that arises. That is the mandala of fire. This is red and clear. This is the deity of the Lotus Lord. From the left arises the light. It is called the mandala of wind. It appears yellowish-green. Here is the deity of the Lord of Action. From both arises the light. The color appears yellow and great. That is the great power mandala. Here is the deity of the Jewel Lord. Slow and moving weakly, completely white like the moon. That is the mandala of water. Here is the deity of the Vajra Lord. As it is said, the meaning here is this: The ray of light that arises from the right nostril, because it has the power of control, is red, emanating from the fire mandala. Know that it is the light of the nature of the fire element, blessed in an immeasurable way. Similarly, that which arises from the left nostril, because it has the power of attraction, is green, from the wind mandala...
