The downward-looking vein is the moon, Āli (Tibetan: ཨཱ་ལི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: āli, Sanskrit Romanization: ali, Chinese literal meaning: Āli), which is where the mind of enlightenment resides. The vein that looks upward from the navel to the end of the throat and is located on the right side is the sun, Kāli (Tibetan: ཀཱ་ལི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: kāli, Sanskrit Romanization: kali, Chinese literal meaning: Kāli), which is where the blood resides. Among them, the left tip should be taken as the path of entry. The right vein is the path of emergence. Breathing flows through the two nostrils. They flow from the two nostrils in halves. Two days and nights are divided into sixteen parts. Now, it is said that the deity is blessed by six verses because the mandala of the four elements flows throughout one's entire body with rays of light. Starting with "from the right," etc. When rays of light emerge from the right nostril, one should know that it is the place where the fire mandala resides. By closely examining that the mandala and the rays of light are inseparable, the color is red, and there is no distinction. These should be understood as the characteristics of the rays of light. If it is explained otherwise, there will be the fault of mistaken signs. The following should also be explained in the same way. Here, the dweller is the Lord of the Lotus, the deity Amitābha. Likewise, when yellow-green rays of light emerge from the left, one should know that it arises from the wind mandala. The Lord of Action here is Amoghasiddhi, and he is the one who dwells here. When yellow color emerges from the breath, one should understand that it arises from the mandala of the Great Lord. The Lord of Jewels is Ratnasambhava, and he is the deity here. When it flows in that field with a kumuda flower and a color as white as the moon, one should know that it arises from the water mandala. The Lord of Vajra is Akshobhya, and he is the one who dwells here. As it is said in the Root of Conjunction: Fire and wind, and water and the Great Lord, above, directly, below, everything moves in that mandala. The Great Lord brings kingship, water increases wealth, fire brings death, and wind depletes wealth. That is how it is said.

Just as the four great elements should also be understood as universally present, whatever wind again pervades the entire body, that is, the executor of all actions, its nature is that of the All-Pervading One. It also originates from the body of beings who die and relinquish life, meaning to go elsewhere. This clearly demonstrates the true nature of wind. It elucidates the meaning of the yoga of bindus, the subtle yoga, the true nature of wind, and the true nature of the deity. These are incomprehensible to speculators, and therefore they cannot comprehend them. A novice yogi is the initial practitioner, and they also cannot comprehend it. The true nature of wind and its limbs have been explained. Therefore, in order to fully demonstrate the cause of the true nature of mantra, it is said in the briefly stated root tantra, beginning with "Thereafter," etc. "Thereafter" means immediately following. The Blessed One is called "Bhagavan" because he possesses power, etc. As it is said: Power and perfection, splendor and fame and wisdom, diligence and beauty, are known as possessing six qualities. Or, because he has conquered the four maras of afflictions, aggregates, the lord of death, and the son of the gods, he is called "Bhagavan." This should be connected with "He spoke of the collection of all secret mantras." Who is the true nature of the deity? "All Tathagatas" and so on are mentioned. There are five All Tathagatas, because they pervade all families. Their body, speech, and mind are the great secret, the three secret letters. That is to say, the one who universally stimulates the essence of all mantras. The secret mantra of all Tathagatas is all mantras, such as "Vajra Dhrika" (Tibetan: བཛྲ་དྷྲྀ་ཀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रधृक, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vajradhṛka, literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Holder), etc., is their essence of true nature. Universally stimulating means stimulating with diligence, and whoever has that name is called that. It is extremely secret, because it should not be shown to those of inferior capacity. From where does it come? From one's own body, speech, and mind, body, speech, and mind are equal.
