Meditate on the moon at the navel, visualizing the seed syllable of one's own deity in the form of a bindu, and contemplate it as being fully united with the life force, this is the object of the mind. The mind is the consciousness, contemplate and abide in the bindu that has transformed into a bindu, and make it repeatedly familiar, this is its meaning. Others say that in the subtle yoga, in the center of the lotus heart of one's own wisdom sattva, visualize the seed syllable with the mind, causing it to turn into ashes. This teaches holding, and this also comes from the "Repeated Exposition" chapter of the tantra called the "Vajra Garland." The so-called repeated exposition is the detailed explanation. The so-called tip of the nose, etc., the so-called mustard seed, is another name for bindu. Regarding this, one should also constantly contemplate the suchness of life, effort, and wind. Regarding this, it is also said: Meditate on the five lights as the Buddhas. The so-called complete purification of the five wisdoms is to abide pervading the throat, heart, navel, secret place, and the entire body. Here it is said: The nature of the five, such as mirror-like wisdom, transforms into life and effort, from the pores of the tip of the nose, surrounded by the four great elements, gradually combined, it will definitely arise. The so-called mountain of going and coming is to remember the characteristics of exhaling and inhaling, and the yogi should also think about it as it is, this is its meaning. There are also six ways to meditate on the breath. As it is said in the Abhidharmakosha: Counting and following, abiding and characteristics, as well as transformation and purification, these six, desire mindfulness of inhalation and exhalation. Thus it is said. Inhalation is the breath that enters the body. Exhalation is the breath that flows outward. Regarding this, the focused awareness is the mindfulness of exhaling and inhaling, because it is the cause of mindfulness itself, it is called mindfulness. The so-called counting is to abandon the habits of body, speech, and mind, focus only on exhaling and inhaling, from one to ten, and repeat this again and again. There are three faults in this, the so-called incomplete number, which is if one holds two as one. Superfluous number

It is called dividing one into two. Incorrect counting refers to considering inhalation as exhalation, or considering exhalation as inhalation. Other than that is the correct counting. When distracted in between, one should start again from the first count until samadhi is attained. "Following" refers to the air that enters spontaneously, gradually entering between the throat, heart, navel, waist, thighs, shins, and feet. Appearance refers to between one fathom, one span, or one bow. "Abiding" refers to contemplating from the tip of the nose to the toes as abiding like a string of jewels. This is either sustaining, harming, cold, or warm. "Characteristic" refers to this being merely air, as well as the four great elements, and those derived from relying on them, and mind and mental factors, which are approximate representations of the five aggregates. "Transformation" refers to transforming the form of air through the mind, thereby continuously increasing roots of virtue, until the yoga of the first supreme Dharma, etc. "Completely pure" refers to completely combining the supreme samadhi of the mandala in the path of seeing, etc. When it निश्चित 出現 (nिश्चितa, निश्चित, certain appearance) from the tip of the nose, then it is said from left to right, etc. Some are from the tip of the left nostril, some are from the tip of the right nostril, some are from both. Slow movement refers to both, entering gradually. Or not. It is called "transforming into four types," through this sequence, time transforms into four types, that is earth, is movement. That is also what is said internally. That air itself pervades the mandala of the four great elements, so it is called abiding. That is time, movement is air. Half a period, the meaning of air universally moving and abiding. As the sequence refers to it not exceeding the deities abiding in each mandala, here is a brief indication of the meaning. From the throat to the navel, on the left side.
